Deck Primer

We are back with possibly the #1 deck in the format right now! Lost Zone Box! This deck is insanely good and the perfect mixture between aggro and control in my opinion. In this deck, we have the early game aggressiveness of Cramorant (Lost Origin) being able to attack for free. Also, we have the late game possibilities of -Sableye (Lost Origins) & Radiant Charizard (Pokémon GO) putting up some numbers for us in the late game!

So how do you play the deck? In a nutshell, you want to get 2-3 Comfey (Lost Origin) out and use their abilities along with Colress's Experiment (Lost Origin) until you get at least 10 cards into your lost zone. The 10 cards in the lost zone turns on our Sableye’s Lost Mine attack. Allowing us to start putting damage counters where we see fit onto our opponents pokemon. Also, at 4 cards in the lost zone, our Cramorants attack turns on and we can get that free attack!

You may notice that we play a plethora of switch cards in our deck. A playset of Escape Rope (Battle Styles), Scoop Up Net (Rebel Clash), and Switch Cart (Astral Radiance). This is because this deck wants to constantly be rotating its bench to utilize our Comfeys to their fullest potential.

You may also see our three Path to the Peak (Chilling Reign) in the deck and think but Jeb this turns off our Radiant Charizard’s ability late game! It does, but having a card turn off one thing in your deck is not that bad compared to it being able to potentially turn off everything in an opponent’s deck. Additionally, we are running two copies of Lost Vacuum (Lost Origin) which means we can get rid of our own Path at any time! (Larry the Cable Guy once said, “Sometimes you have to wreck the truck to get the insurance money to pay the truck payment!”)

The last tech card I would like to mention is Echoing Horn (Chilling Reign). This card gives us the capability to get back a small, easy to knock out Pokémon out of our opponents discard pile. Allowing us to get free knock outs on the same small Pokémon repeatedly.

All in all, I think this deck is hands down the best deck in the current format and I look forward to playing it!
