Gameplan

Machamp and Annihilape to hit for high damage while taking advantage of being down prize cards to make a comeback middle to late game.

Machamp VMAX and Primeape to hit for high damage by putting damage counters on Pokemon with Gapejaw Bog.

Set up

Radiant Greninja - Allows the deck to draw cards to find the items, Pokemon, supporters and energies we need to set up and reach the gameplan.

Koraidon ex - Ideal Pokemon to have especially starting the game going 1st to use Dino Cry to set up the energies from the discard to any Pokemon. It can also set the energies on itself to attack for 220 damage KOing most basic Pokemon on the next turn.

Important Trainer Cards To Reach Gameplan

Nest Ball - Finds all of the basic Pokemon to set up for the game.

Ultra Ball - Finds all non basic Pokemon and can discard Fighting Energies for Koraidon ex to use Dino Cry.

Forest Seal Stone - Finds any card in the deck and puts it in the hand, very useful to help the deck find the card to keeps the deck going. NOTE: Can only be attached to Machamp V or VMAX.

Rare Candy - Helps evolve Machoke and Mankey into Machamp and Annihilape quicker without having to evolve into the Stage 1 Pokemon.

Hisuian Heavy Ball - Helps find Radiant Greninja or Koraidon ex if they are not in the deck and are in the prize cards. Also very good to identify cards that are out of the deck.

Arven - Searches for an Item and a Tool Card, helps find for example Forest Seal Stone (Tool) and Rare Candy (Item).

Raihan - Puts an energy from discard to any of the Pokemon and finds any card in the deck to put into the hand. Easy way to get an extra Fighting Energy on a Pokemon during a turn. All the Pokemon in the deck can attack for 2 energy.

Gapejaw Bog - Allows the basic Pokemon that is played from the hand onto the bench to get damage counters. Machamp VMAX and Primeape have attacks that depend on Pokemon having damage counters on themselves.

Pros & Cons of the Deck

Pros

Strong attackers that attack for 2 energies that can KO almost any Pokemon given the right conditions.

Great deck against decks that have high HP V or VMAX or ex Pokemon.

Single prize attackers that can be set up pretty quickly.

Comeback and win from being behind potential.

Multiple lines and intricate strategies to victory.

Relatively cheap deck to play.

Fun and interesting casual off meta deck.

Cons

Slow - takes time to set up Pokemon and find cards to that are needed to set up the gameplan.

Many moving pieces can lead to inconsistencies to fufilling the gameplan. Examples - Not being able to find rare candy to evolve. Not having energies in the discard to use Koraidon ex's Dino Cry.

Does not draw as many cards as other current decks in the standard meta.

Currently loses to the many powerful Psychic decks in the meta. Also loses to Lost Box which can KO multiple Pokemon at once and KO Pokemon that have not evolved.

now where is your gutsy pickaxe and bea??? energy is importand in this deck.  it wont function very well with the way you have it

Bea is rotated out of standard. I'm not too worried with the energies, the deck is meant to be down prizes to take advantage of the two energy attacks along with having raihan to set up. Koraidon also helps set up the energies as well. I could take out the two Lakes, Grant and Klara to put 4 pickaxe but from the testing I've done yesterday the deck runs pretty well. It runs faster than how I had expected.

loved the deck. maybe one squawkabilly ex, to send energy first turn and draw. also maybe grant can come in clutch sometimes.

I definitely need to update the deck with new cards from Paldea Evolved. I think you make a good point, I'll have to find a place for Squawkabilly ex in the deck.
