This deck focuses on stifiling your opponent. This is done with a combination of Malamar EX's Hyper Hypnosis alongside hammers, sprays, blowers, and more. While you lock up your opponent and prevent them from being able to play their game, you stack energy on Malamar EX to get a powerful attacker. Umbreon works as both a more consistent attacker that can access the bench but also the GX ability couldn't fit better with the deck.
