Dedenne GX, Crobat V, Tapu lele GX, Lumineon V?  *rubs eyes* Oh right I see 4 prize cards, how could I have seen anything else?

Urshifu in expanded still kinda sucks though. As a 3 prizer with lackluster damage, you cannot take many prize cards striking their active, so might as well ignore it and take advantage of their supporting pokemon and steal prizes there.

But there's a problem. Bench barrier. A spread deck's typical nightmare. Silent lab with GandH offer a steady counter.

With Passimian and Sight, the 4 most popular supports will succumb to Urshifu in 1 strike (so much for rapid stike lmao)

Max potion and Cheryl synergize greatly as Urshifu dumps all it's energies after an attack, so these cards no longer have a drawback. (Cheryl over 3 max potion because recyclable)

Feel free to replace the cyclone with smth else, I honestly blanked on what ace to use. Computer search and Prime catcher both could work.

This deck isn't intended to be very competitive mostly because of how ass the archetype is, but if there are possible improvements please comment below.

Evn This is my take on Urshifu in expanded. Don't hesitate to ask any questions you may have.

Or if there are any possible obvious errors, I did make this fairly quickly and could have made errors.

I saw your conversation in the otehr deck, so I know why this exists, but I'll still ask a perhaps contradictory question.

When looking at the concept of dealing 120 spread, would Greninja ex be less terrible? I would guess that being a stage 2 is worth the benefit of discarding fewer energy per attack, using water energy primarily, which is a generally easier type to accelerate, Twin Energy compatabilty alongside DCE, and most importantly, giving up one fewer prize when KO'd. Despite all that, it still wouldn't be very good, but it's an improvement.

CountyGibbon798 You are kinda right, it would be slightly less terrible, but a big "slightly". I get all of the reasons you mentioned that it could be better, but the biggest loss here is honestly Passimian, without Passimian, you actually can't OHKO a single supporting pokemon - not even dedenne - which ruins the whole plan. Very sad. (you could also run a side spread but that's just kinda tacky) Being a stage 2 is also more of a drag than one might imagine. There's a reason you don't see a single stage 2 in the expanded meta unless it's a support.

Having a better first attack, a much more consistent second attack, and giving up 1 less prize are all great, but not too great. Also it just feels so much better to use a stage 1 than a stage 2, like mentally. Rare candy feels so sketchy it's almost like an inconsistent gimmick itself. Maybe that's just me being in love with consistency and hating gimmicks idk. You do have a point overall, but personally I wouldn't use Greninja.

Tho why no backup attackers

Evn Backup attackers typically create unnecessary inconsistency. If you are afraid of not having enough Urshifu, Rescue Stretcher (Guardians Rising) is there to help. Though I forgot to add it here.
