cool deck 👍
Cool deck, congRATS on getting deck of the day! Rhank you for testing an updating your decks, most people don't and it's good to see.
Love it, and I'd only change the Tandemaus you're currently running with the one with a free retreat. It makes it callable with Feather ball, and the 10 less HP isn't that big of deal because it's usually being OHKOed anyways.
Oh man, I didn't even realize that there was a Tandemaus with no retreat! I can potentially replace the Nest Balls with something else. I was really hoping to add the regular Maushold in, but I can't find a scenario where it's viable.
The greatest weaknesses of this deck are getting your mice on the field and the amount of attack damage that they can do. Plus, using just Special Energy means that you can't get it out of the discard pile. I've been playtesting using Blissey as backup damage, but she takes a few turns to get scary.
CountyGibbon798 - Updated!
patrickhays2 Looking better already!! I'm also flirting with the idea of running TM: Evolution to get Maushold out even faster, but I don't know what to remove lol.
I started with the TMEvo, but it really just slowed me down. The trouble is that you're focusing on three at once: getting Tandemaus on the board, getting your TMEvo, and finding an energy. It doesn't sound like much, but if you put four TMEvos in your deck then you'll regret it in the mid game where your MausEx's are getting one-shot by Pokémon that do 240 or 250 damage.
In fact, I ran into a similar problem getting Bombirdier off the board after he's pulled the mice. I'm not always assured to get a Double Turbo, so I've been playing with using Professor Turo's Scenario (Paradox Rift) to pull him or Squawkabilly out after turn 1. I'm currently testing this:
Pokémon: 6
1 Jirachi PAR 126
3 Bombirdier ex PAR 156
4 Maushold ex PAR 155
4 Tandemaus PAR 153
1 Squawkabilly ex PAL 169
1 Manaphy BRS 41

2 Rigid Band MEW 165
4 Feather Ball ASR 141
2 Pokégear 3.0 SVI 186
2 Pal Pad SVI 182

4 Arven OBF 186
2 Bravery Charm PAL 173
2 Boss's Orders PAL 172

3 Crushing Hammer SVI 168
2 Professor Turo's Scenario PAR 171 PH

I suppose I can axe the Crushing Hammers and give the TMVo a try. I'll report back in a minutes how it goes!
patrickhays2 Makes sense. I guess for a deck that wants to play reactively, I take it TM Evo wouldn't be the best option, and discard fodder is aleady taken by VIP.
CountyGibbon798
So I got rid of the Hammers and added one more ProfTS and two TMEvo's and...it works really well, lol. I've been putting a Bravery Charm on the Bombirdier for survivability, but maybe I can get rid of those and add a few more stadiums...
If you were testing Blissey as a backup, what about Wyrdeer v, It doesn't take time to setup
Also what about ho-oh v for when it just stalling
Starmie23 - thanks! I'll check them out and let you know how it goes!
Wrydeer V was on my list to try, too. Blissey's ability get the Energy out of the discard pile is what got me to try.
