You can even use just one spirit link and reuse it for your 2nd Mega Charizard. Emboar is to get that massive number of energy on Charizard as fast as possible, and Entei being a good secondary attacker. He can hold onto 2 tools if you ever need to sycamore but don't want to lose your tools, and can even benefit from the protection cube if he uses heat tackle.
