Samurott helps with getting Lopunny in and out of the active spot, with Goldeen + Air Balloon acting as the free retreater. With Goldeen in the active, it does allow you to use Thwackey's ability for search for cards. Hilda is here to grab evolutions + special energies (mist energy for the Alakazam match up if you wanted to still attack w/ Lopunny, along with negating any other effect besides raw damage, and Spiky Energy for additional damage), Wally for the heal, the other supporters are self explanatory. The ace spec of choice for me is Maximum Belt, but you can swap it out for Hyper Aroma since the deck does mainly focus on stage 1s or Hero's Cape to help against getting one shot by Mega Excadrill. Dedenne is a nice tech card that can grab whatever trainer card you want an extra use of. Team Rocket's Articuno is mainly for the Alakazam match up. Watch Tower to negate any colorless pokemon with abilities
