Deck Primer

Mega Kangaskhan's Rapid-Fire Combo goes brrrrrr. Side note: I had no idea what to put for the little note for this deck like I usually do for my other decks, so I just simply made it that.

Placeholders:

Misty's Psyduck is a placeholder for the Promo Psyduck with the Damp Ability.

This Psyduck card will be updated to the Promo Variant whenever the website updates and actually adds it in.

Strategy: I strongly suggest to attempt to go second with this deck, mainly to try and perform a TM: Turbo Energize

This Psyduck card will be updated to the Promo Variant whenever the website updates and actually adds it in.

Strategy: I strongly suggest to attempt to go second with this deck, mainly to try and perform a TM: Turbo Energize and to use a Supporter Card. Anyways, during your First Turn, you should try an attempt to get out the following Pokémon:

- 1-2 Mega Kangaskhan ex

- 2 Bouffalont

- 1-2 Munkidori

- Cornerstone Mask Ogerpon ex (If needed to wall random Attackers w/ Abilities)

- Psyduck (if needed)

- Any other Pokémon of your choice.

Anyways, I will now move onto Pokémon Explanations.

Pokémon Explanations:

The main focus of this deck is Mega Kangaskhan ex which is an extremely strong Big Basic Pokémon with a Base HP stat of 300. Not only is this an extremely Tanky BASIC Pokémon, it's also has a very good Ability called Run Errand, as when it's in the Active Spot, you Draw 2 Cards, and its Attack is Rapid-Fire Combo. It deals 200 damage at its base damage, and it does 50 more damage for each Heads you flip until you flip Tails. Bouffalant from Stellar Crown's Ability Curly Wall requires another Bouffalont to be in play, but if 2 are in play, all of your Basic Colorless/Normal Type Pokémon take 60 less damage. This effectively gives Mega Kangaskhan 360 HP as a BASIC Pokémon. Munkidori, when a Darkness Energy is attached to it, can use its Ability Adrena-Brain, which moves up to 30 Damage from one of your Pokémon to one of your Opponent's Pokémon, this doesn't only just heal Kangaskhan/any other Pokémon, it also makes KOing your Opponent's Pokémon a bit easier!

Cornerstone Mask Ogerpon ex is a backup Attacker of yours and can deal 140 Damage and ignores all effects of Abilities and ignores Weakness & Resistance. CM Ogerpon also opts as a wall to Pokémon Attackers with Abilities. Bloodmoon Ursaluna ex is your Endgame Attacker, where it can deal 240 Damage but cannot attack the next turn, and its Attack Cost lowers by 1 Colorless Energy fo each Prize Card your Opponent has taken. This is effectively your last resort. Fezandipiti ex provides you extra Draw Support, this card doesn't need much of an explanation as it's a staple in almost every deck and Psyduck's Ability called Damp shuts off all abilities that KO themselves so it's a counter to Magneton (SSP) and Dusclops/Dusknoir.

This is the end of the Pokémon Explanations, so I will now explain the Trainer Cards.

T.C. Explanations: (T.C. is short for Trainer Cards)

Arven helps you find an Item and a Tool Card, doesn't need much more explanations as it's a staple in almost every Standard Deck. Boss's Orders provides gust/forcing up one of your Opponent's Pokémon and provides MANY uses. This card is pretty much played in EVERY deck besides a few like Gardevoir ex, but they sometimes run Boss. Iono is your disruption card which makes both players shuffle their hands to the bottom of their deck and draws as many cards as the Prize Cards they have remaining. Crispin helps you accelerate up to 2 Energies total to your Pokémon, it attaches one Basic Energy to one of your Pokémon and the other goes into your Hand which you can just attach that energy from your Hand to that Pokémon or another Pokémon like Munkidori. Lillie's Determination shuffles your hand into your deck and you draw a new hand of 6 Cards, but if you have exactly 6 Prize Cards remaining, you draw 8 Cards instead. This is an extremely powerful card, especially in the Early Game and it's a staple in basically every deck. Now for the final Supporter Card in this deck, Penny, which puts a Basic Pokémon in play and all of its Attached Cards into your Hand, this can reset a Mega Kangaskhan's damage when you bench it again and is extremely versatile in various scenarios as well.

Nest Ball allows you to get any Basic Pokémon onto your Bench and the ACE SPEC of choice, Precious Trolley, allows you to fill up your entire Bench with Basic Pokémon that you need, effectively setting up your entire board! Pokégear 3.0 helps you search the top 7 cards of your deck for a Supporter Card, and if there are any, you can select which one you want to add to your hand. Jumbo Ice Cream heals 80 HP from your Active Pokémon that has 3 or more Energy attached, this makes Mega Kangaskhan very tanky as you can heal it very effectively. Earthen Vessel discards a card from your hand and gets you up to 2 Basic Energy Cards from your deck into your hand. Energy Switch moves a Basic Energy Cards around to another Pokémon of yours. Night Stretcher and Super Rod provide recovery options for you Pokémon and Basic Energy. Air Balloon makes the Pokémon it's attached to have a cheaper retreat cost by 2 Colorless Energy. Bravery Charm makes the Basic Pokémon it's attached to have 50 more HP, this gives Mega Kangaskhan 350 HP/410 HP with 2 Bouffalant in play and TM: Turbo Energize helps accelerate 2 Basic Energies to your Benched Pokémon in any way you like. Furthermore on Bravery Charm making Basic Pokémon tankier, the stadium of choice, Lively Stadium, all Basic Pokémon gains 30 more HP. This gives Mega Kangaskhan 330 HP/390 HP with Bouffalant/380 HP with Bravery Charm/440 HP with Bravery Charm & Bouffalant.

This concludes the Strategy section, so feel free to make any changes, ask almost any questions, leave any suggestions/feedback, or anything else! Thank you for all your guys's support as well! I appreciate all of you a lot and I hope you all have a great day! I will now move onto the CTC section, but you don't need to read it if you already know what you want to add/dont want to make any changes, it's just there to give ideas for changes.

CTCThe cards that I'd recommend to add into this deck as an alternative for you to try out or try to fit your preferences will be sorted into a list with a brief description for every card. If there any cards here or from your own thoughts/ideas that you'd wish to add into this deck, cut out any cards that you don't find too useful. With this being stated, here is the list:

Pokémon:

- 1 Bouffalant (SSP) - Gives you a single prize Attacker.

- 2 Terapagos ex - Gives you another attacker and to be able to use the Noctowl Engine.

- 3-3 Noctowl (SCR) Line, Any HootHoot is fine - If Terapagos ex is in play, you're able to get out 2 Trainer Cards from your deck.

- 1-2 Fan Rotom (SCR) - Helps get out the Noctowl Line.

- 1 Latias ex - Gives all your Basic Pokémon Free Retreat.

- 1 Lillie's Clefairy ex - Helps deal with Dragon Type decks.

Trainer Cards:

- 2nd Penny - Self-explanatory.

- 1 Counter Catcher - Provides additional gust.

- 1 Switch - Moves your Active Pokémon to the bench for a new one.

- 1 Pal Pad - Recovers two of your Supporter Cards.

- 2 Area Zero Underdepths - For the Terapagos ex Build.

This concludes the CTC (Cards to Consider) section, so like previously stated, feel free to do whatever you want with this deck and have a great rest of your day!

I hope you all have a great day!

Since you made this deck try Kangaskhan + Fortress ex

LimeLemon avatar

Pe7son Thank you for your feedback! Also, I will try that, but Forretress ex might be a bit risky due to it giving up 2 Prize Cards but it could maybe combo into Acerola's Mischief or help use that card. Thank you for the suggestion as well!
