Strategy: I'd recommend to go second with this deck as getting off Technical Machine: Evolution is really helpful. Though, if you go first just try to get your set up and an Energy into play. Also, this deck does do quite well even when item-locked. Since this deck has quite a few supporters, you should try to use Pokégear to search out for them. Try to get Arven out and use Precious Trolley to get your Pokémon on the field ASAP but if you prized Trolley, you still have Poffin and Nest Ball to get out some of your Pokémon but if you cannot get Arven but do have Brock's Scouting use it to get 2 Meltan's or 1 Meltan, 1 Beldum or 2 Beldum. I'd recommend with Trolley to get 2 Beldum and then use TM: Evolution to get out 2 Metang's to start getting Energy onto Meltan/Melmetal as soon as possible. Though, Professor's Research can also be used to get a much better hand. Additionally, if you're going first and have Pokégear in hand, use it the turn after as it's typically better since it's technically a 8 Card search since you Draw a card. Now, much later on into the game, when you have a few Energies onto Melmetal, I'd suggest you put Heavy Baton onto Melmetal when you can do you can keep your Metal Energy into play for another Melmetal. Regigigas can also take advantage of Metang and can do 330 against Tera Pokémon which helps against the matchups of Zard, Pult, and other Tera Pokémon decks. Turo's Scenario helps reset a Melmetal to prevent a KO on it but it does discard the Energies from it which isn't that great but is still good for this deck. Additionally, you can drop the Professor's Research count down to 2 and add in a 4th Arven, a 3rd Rod, or a 2nd TM: Evo, or anything else you find interesting. Do note that a weakness of this deck is the fact it doesn't play any stadiums but you can run something like Full Metal Lab to make Melmetal tankier.
