Arven (Scarlet & Violet) is an essential piece to just about any deck, as it lets you search out an item (Buddy-Buddy Poffin (Temporal Forces), Earthen Vessel (Paradox Rift), Rare Candy (Scarlet & Violet), whatever is needed for Meowscarada to function) and a tool. Technical Machine: Evolution (Paradox Rift) is the tool of choice here to provide more consistency to leads by evolving Sprigatito, Bidoof, and potentially Snorunt, synergizing excellently with Buddy Poffin. Forest Seal Stone (Silver Tempest) also pairs especially well with Lumineon V (Brilliant Stars) to turn Ultra Ball (Scarlet & Violet) into an excellent consistency piece. Arven isn't the only way to get a Meowscarada into play however. Colress's Tenacity (Shrouded Fable) can nab both Double Turbo Energy (Brilliant Stars) and Grand Tree (Stellar Crown) to get a Meowscarada in play all in one go!

This deck also has a huge focus on damage control/spread to enable Scratching Nails, and as such it has four different ways to put damage on and move it around the opponent's field. The primary focus is on Meowscarada, with Radiant Alakazam (Silver Tempest), Froslass (Twilight Masquerade), and Munkidori (Twilight Masquerade) to supplement. Meowscarada's ability, Boquet Magic, let's you discard a grass energy to put 30 damage on an opponent's benched Pokemon. This is further aided by Alakazam's ability, Painful Spoons, letting you move up to 20 damage from one opponent to one other. Most commonly, you will be putting damage on the bench with Boquet Magic, then moving it to your opponent's active Pokemon with Painful Spoons to net a Scratching Nails KO. Froslass takes this one step further, and pours damage onto the field overtime with it's ability. Munkidori wraps up this spread package with a bow, and both punishes opponents for not taking OHKO's and synergizing with our own froslass by being able to move up to 30 damage from one of your Pokemon to one of theirs so long as it has a Dark energy attached. By utilizing these pieces to pour damage on even before attacking, this can very easily steamroll into multi-prize knockouts. 

Aside from Super Rod (Paldea Evolved), Lana's Aid (Twilight Masquerade) is played for more immediate recovery, as being able to put basic energies and non-rulebox Pokemon from the discard directly back into your hand is powerful not only to deny disruptive bench snipes, but to supply Grass energies for Boquet Magic.

There is a lot to manage with this deck, but in short if you are able to choose how to spread damage well, this deck is a powerful way to use Meowscarada-EX!
