Deck Primer

My first deck! May try it irl if I ever get the cards, but this is for fun mostly. 4 double colorless energy should make it for the lack of basic energies, right? Call for Family makes up for the little amount of drawing cards in this deck and makes it so you can use your colorless energy and stall a little to gain traction later. Wo-chien ex is interesting to me in the way it helps you as this deck's ace (Meowscarada EX) is very situational (no EX on your enemy's side can be a counter). Pokemon

My first deck! May try it irl if I ever get the cards, but this is for fun mostly. 4 double colorless energy should make it for the lack of basic energies, right? Wo-chien ex is interesting to me in the way it helps you as this deck's ace (Meowscarada EX) is very situational (no EX on your enemy's side can be a counter). Pokemon Catcher is a great way to deal against opponents that are willing to waste energy cards and others to counter your anti-ex strategy by just switching out. Also, cards that force your opponents to switch their benched pokemon with the one on the active spot like Pokemon Catcher are great with Meowscarada's ability, be it Bouquet Magique from Meowscarada EX or Rising Bloom from non-ex Meowscarada. You can use support pokemon like Cinccino with Sweeping Cure to heal your Meowscarada in case your opponent throws a non-ex tank pokemon against it, and colorless double energy can make it for the retreat cost, since this deck has no Switcher for switching out (although it has Meowscarada's ability Showtime to at least scare your opponent into thinking twice about putting their EX's pokemon in the active spot). The downside of your support pokemon's tendency to just die can be mitigated by cards like Lacey or Hassel that lets you do more with less if you're losing. Quick Search (Pidgeot EX), Arven, and other searchers can be used to always have Rare Candies, Pokemon Catchers and even Nemona's Backpack which are very useful in this deck. Your strategy depends on switching out things in your opponent's side, so you gotta have item searchers on here.
I think that's all for this deck. It's my first so it may have a lot of weak points. It's mostly for fun, but I loved both Meowscarada's abilities (also I love Meowscarada). Let me know what you think! If you can even make comments here. I hope I get it irl lol anyways bye!!

It's always fun making your own deck! I just want to give you a heads up that this deck is not standard. You can only play cards with the G or H marking. Basically no yellow borders. Double Colorless is also out so unfortunately you can't use it. If you want to swap some mons around you probably really only need one Floragato and one Pigeotto. You really only ever need one Pidgeot ex in olay cause only one can use quick search. Instead run more draw support like Teal Mask Ogrepon to combo with your grass typing. If you really want use Wo Chien you could probably combo it with Dusknoir and Dusclops with Cursed Blast so your opponent takes more prizes to maximize the damage.

Trainer wise you probably dont want to run that man Pokemon Catchers, for items if you use Ogerpon you will definitely need energy switch or Poppy to swap the enegies. Since you are running Arven it might be beneficial to run Powerglass or Counter Gain. One thing I cannot stress enough is RUN IONO. Since you are hoping your opponent takes more prizes you can widdle down thier hand when they do. Definitely run Nest Ball and Buddy Buddy Poffin for you pokemon. You can probably run Max Rod as the Ace Spec to get energy back into hand.

For things to take out. Get rid of the Nemona cycle since you can only use one supporter per turn even if you use Nemona Bag to get her back there is no point. Take out the Cinccinos and Minccinos for standard regulation, but they are also take up too much space. Same thing with Non EX Meowscarada. It just takes up what could be a Meowscarada ex. You dont really need Hassel and can probably run one or two Boss's Orders instead of Pokemon Catchers. Def take out the Double Colorless. You have enough energy especially if you run Powerglass or Super Rod energies are coming out of the discard.

All in all have fun with you deck building and do reaserch on here of what works well. You can also see if anyone has made a similar deck to yours and copy and little homework. GL bro uave fun!
