Meowscarada is finally good!

Set up Arceus line and a Pidgey, Starbirth for Rare Candy + Pidgeot ex, and set up your Pidgeot ex search engine.

Use Meowscarada ex and Radiant Alakazam to spread damage, and attack for the knockout with Meowscarada ex.

Medicham V can get you a cheeky extra turn, and Super Rod, Energy Retreival, and Superior Energy Retreival can grab those energy and stick them back in the deck or your hand.

Drapion V is good against Mew VMAX.

Squawkabilly ex is great when your starting

Bet you don't remember it, either. 😉

Topdecks_ switch cart doesn't work on evolutions, pidgeot ex has free retreat and it searches you switching cards regardless

haalandagoat avatar

Octowen anyways what is the polygram algorithm times the speed of light divide by the mass of an average lucario????

Speedy__Rowlet! avatar

And I quote...

"What is the formula for the Volume of a Cone?"

Octowen avatar

Topdecks_Hella67 Is correct, Pidgeot has no problem pivoting and has the ability to grab me a search card when necessary, and in addition, DTE can be attached to any of my Pokémon for an instant manual retreat if I have to. So I am quite flexible in a corner.

haalandagoat of course I remember you 😂

The "polygram algorithm" doesn't seem to be a set number, and you can't exactly devide m/s by mass. But assuming Lucario is going the speed of light, his force (mass x acceleration) is equal to 119 lbs x c, which is 16182045012.349 N, meaning you don't want to be hit by a Lucario going the speed of light. (Look out for a Lightning Tera Type!)

Speedy__Rowlet! idk why I capitalized that actually 😂

Thank you all for the great comments! XD

I have played this deck on couple online Tourniers and one Liga Challenge (got 2-2, 8th out 15) with light changes. Mesagoza to Drapion V and Switch to Squawkabilly ex. And I find this deck quite decent, even thou it is not BDIF it has good match up against everything. But it is really big brain deck because even slatiest mistake could cost you a game. Good part is that opponents didn’t even expect to face you. But sometimes this deck gives you really bad starting hand especially because you can get 3 unplayable supporters going first that why I think Squawkabilly is good inclusion. Drapion understandable because Mew Vmax disrespects every deck in format. So, I really recommend trying this deck at least in Live especially with Charizard popularity.

KioshiMi17 thank you for trying this deck out!

You're right, this deck does take a lot of thinking. You have to decide what to Boquet Magic, and what to Quick Search for, and what to Magic Spoons, etc. I definitely agree, I have gotten some unplayable hands, and so Squawkabilly ex seems like a great idea. I am going to implement your additions to the deck, although I may replace a few different cards than you suggested, because Switch can come in handy.

One question: did you ever use the Bibarel line, or was it a waste of space?

KioshiMi17 avatar

Hi Octowen,

Bibarel is actually cool when Arc or Pidgeot prized (but this more about PTCGL games irl it is pretty rare). Helps operating under Path to the peak and good against late game Iono. So, I used it more like alternative draw or late game support because sometimes u need more than one quick search to pull of the game. Tomorrow, I go to the League Cup hope will do great with this deck.

P.s. Don't now how to answer massege on this site.

Octowen avatar

Yeah there's no good way to reply to a message but you can use @ and then type someone's name and it should notify them.

KioshiMi17 it's good to know Bibarel is useful, I think I'll add it back in. Best of luck at your league cup, and let me know how you do! 😃

"Feel free to comment with advice, or even if you just like the deck, or if you want to ask random questions"

Ok, here's a random question. Where were you on the night of February 17th, 1992?

Also, the formula for the volume of a cone is V = pi x r^3 x h/3, a formula that I had 100% memorized and didn't google

Octowen avatar

AlphaNova thanks for commenting!

Answer to your random question: I wasn't born yet. 😂

Well done on the volume except I think it's V = pi x r^2 x h/3 instead of r^3, but it's totally awesome you had all that memorized 👏

r^3 is involved in the volume of a sphere.

Octowen

I was mainly trying to be sarcastic with the memorization comment, but I'm not really good at showing tone when typing. To be honest I did google it, and misread the r^2 as r^3, so your right lol.

And don't worry, I wasn't born on February 17th 1992 either. Last time I checked at least.

Anyways, I probably should say something related to the deck, should I? I do know I tried out Meowscarada at some point but it didn't really feel consistent. Of course, I wasn't running Colress, Squawkabilly, Mesagoza, or Bibarel, so I might have to try a list like this out at some point and see if it works better. Anyways, thanks for contributing to this site with your decklists, comments, and knowledge of math equations ;)

Octowen avatar

AlphaNova it's true, it's hard to show sarcasm while messaging; I've had issues with it before as well.

😂 last time you checked at least

In your defense, I did say that comments unrelated to the deck were encouraged, but thanks for the feedback!

NoGoodNames avatar

Have you considered adding that new Skwovet? The ability is shuffle your hand, put it at the bottom of your deck, and draw a card, and it meshes really well with the Bibarel.

Dawgs-on-top avatar

Cool deck octowen! I've tried meowscarada before and didn't really find it that consistant but this was when PAL first came out so there was no pidgeot...

Can you convert 101010101011101101100101010101010101010 to base ten?

Octowen avatar

Dawgs-on-top this version still struggles to be consistent sometimes,  it it feels great when you pull it off.

Base ten: 366644210346

Starmie23 avatar

too many numbers.

keep it simple.

like 1+1=3.

Octowen avatar

Ah true true Starmie23.

but factorials are so fun...
