Better than Gouging Fire? Debatable honestly.

This deck currently sits untested, so if you notice any flaws feel free to point them out. The biggest issue rn is Garbodor, but I'm having trouble making it consistent. Considering removing all together, but it is still VERY helpful in the right matchups.

Works almost exactly the same way as my deck on ADP Gouging Fire.

Compared to Gouging Fire

PROS:

- After AC usage of DDE

- Debatably needs less energy

- Doesn't depend on a supporter for consistent E acceleration

Compared to Gouging Fire

PROS:

- After AC usage of DDE

- Debatably needs less energy

- Doesn't depend on a supporter for consistent E acceleration (Not like Tapu Koko is much better though)

- Common type so more Dragon tech can be used. Mostly mysterious treasure though.

- Mysterious treasure being used also calls forth Garbodor as a possible option. (still calculating consistency issues)

- Spammable attack

- No weakness

CONS:

- Has a drawback of doing 20 dmg friendly fire to all pokemon, attempted to mitigate with Crystal Cave

- MUCH MORE DIFFICULT to accelerate energy type, resorting to Tapu koko, though Melony is also an option.

- 10 less damage

- No access to Volcanion for 300+ HP Pokemon

- No access to booster

Overall, I'd still say it's worse, but I can see this being a viable option still. Just need to work some bugs out.

Like I said, if you see any issues, obvious or not, please comment them.

Have you considered making an ADP variant with Hisuian Goodra VSTAR? They have the same Energy types needed, and both of them are fairly easy to accelerate (Metal Saucer and Aqua Patch. Water may even be easier because you can AP to Lumineon V then Energy Switch or something. Idk, just my first thoughts). And while it doesn't hit as hard, it is hella annoying to KO and cna benefit from Hero's Cape, which also synergizes with ADP to make it less of a Liability. DDE is also compatible with Metal Transfer Bronzong for the reason that as long as it's attached to a Dragon Pokemon, it is considered a Metal Energy and can be moved if you want to Turo/Max Potion.

Hey, I just like Tank decks, and Goodra.

CountyGibbon798  Yeah that could very well work. Bronzong is definitely a good addition since ADP's energy is useless after AC. It's just the emphasis on evolutions that holds it back ever so slightly, though it can be mitigated with the fact that ADP is your first strike and all evolutions can be played the following turn.

Thanks for the ideas.

Yes. Pretty much set up with all of your basics, and then spam evolution incense or the likes to get what you need afterwards. You can then start using Metal Transfer to salvage as much as you can, while Turo'ing away the liability in the process. Metal Transfer being able to move Rainbow Energy effects is honestly a really cool interaction.
