I love how this deck's title looks reminicient of those old-fashioned clickbait YouTube videos. If it were in all caps, it would really sell it lol. META LUGIA VSTAR (AMAZING!)
Anyways, I wonder if thei deck will get more optoions as more Stellar Pokemon get revealed? I don't think a lot of them look all that amazing (no pun intended) in this deck, but there is the potential!
CountyGibbon798 lmao I immediately realized the youtube thing too, but then just left it. (it was funny so who tf cares)
Yeah, about the stellar pokemon, that would definitely be cool, I was already thinking of adding terapagos ex to give gouging fire, necrozma and other basic pokemon heavy decks hell. Also yeah ur right most of them aren't very great. (intend your puns big man you had a perfect one so intend it!)
We will stay on the lookout for more stellar or other 3 different energy pokemon in the future.
I guess your best option for a Stellar Pokemon would be Terapagos, since it could probably wall a few decks that don't come prepared, first thing that comes to mind being Ultra Necrozma, provided they're not running Ultra Forest Kartenvoy (Unbroken Bonds) which is unlikely.
CountyGibbon798 Ye does same with gouging fire like I said. The best part about it is that its not an ability, so say goodbye to stealthy hood which was a super popular option when wall was viable. Also say goodbye to garbodor from bypassing wall provided you set up before it does. (which is likely with wally + overall consistency)
Yeah, I hope this site updates to include the Stellar Crown cards soon, since I'm tired of needing placeholders. Speaking of which, what is your opinion on Area Zero Underdepths in Expanded as a potential one-way Sky Field? I think it has some promise, but what it really needs to be very playable is a Tera draw support Pokemon along the lines of Dedenne-GX, Tapu Lele-GX or Crobat V so it can be slotted into more decks without the required hassle of getting a specialized tera Pokemon. At least Terapagos is decent-ish depending on the deck.
CountyGibbon798 Ye I get ur thinkin, but it is still a **** card compared to sky field. Not just in this deck but most large bench decks. If my main strategy doesn't require a tera pokemon, heck there's no reason to use it at all! Even if a tera draw support gets released(which is super unlikely since if it were to be playable in expanded, it would be too op in standard), it still won't be superior since if you're that desperate for the opponent not to take advantage, at that point just use sudowoodo. (opponent likely won't take advantage anyways) Sky field is super quick and efficient, with no strings attached. I fail to see a use for AZU in Expanded. Once it rotates, its gonna be a forgotten card. Trust.
