I don't think that Cobalion is really worth it, as special conidtions are rarely relevant. I'd put Magearna EX there, as it would prevent effects of attacks that afflict special conditions, as well as other annoying effects. I also think that Metal Goggles is better than frying pan, as it prevents damage counter placement, and the weakness removing part is covered by Coating Metal Energy. Zacian VSTAR is also recommended as it does consistent damage, and could easily take the place of main attacker from Corviknight VMAX.
Thanks for the tips! I really appreciate it. I was on the same thought-path as you about Magearna vs Cobalion: Magearna will prevent status conditions AND everything else, while Cobalion just does the former. I actually had Metal Goggles in here before: I'll make the swap again. Should I add more Coating Metal energy, or is one enough? FYI I haven't tested this deck yet.
