(Blast em!) Mew VMAX (Fusion Strike) is a powerhouse and has been a dominant force in the format for months now since the release of Fusion Strike back in November 2021. This deck is so powerful and efficient in what it does that it is a clear contender for the best deck in the format.

Genesect V (Fusion Strike)  is the backbone of this deck the reason why it is so efficient. The ability to draw cards up to the number of fusion strike pokemon that you have in play is absolutely insane.

Couple this with all of your ways to fetch out your fusion strike pokemon such as Quick Ball (Fusion Strike)  and Ultra Ball (Sun & Moon)  and its off to the races! (Draw Engine Online!).

Additonally, a playset of Battle VIP Pass (Fusion Strike)  is an absolute auto include in this deck as it allows you access to at least two of your Genesect V’s on just the first turn of the game.

Let’s not forget about the energy accerlation that this deck has. Elesa's Sparkle (Fusion Strike)  is crucial to the efficiency of this deck. Playing this card can give you access to three energies in a single turn! This means that you could potentially attack with a Meloetta (Fusion Strike)  on your first turn for up to 210 damage if you choose to go second!

Power Tablet (Fusion Strike) is my favorite card in this deck because of the massive amounts of damage that you can do with it. Attach a Choice Belt (Astral Radiance)  to your Mew VMax and chain a playset of these together and you can hit well beyond the highest amount of HP of any Pokemon in the game!

Perhaps Mew Vmax’s biggest downfall is its limited number of energies. Most deck lists only run seven energies and trust me your opponents will know this. Energy discard and displacement with cards such as Crushing Hammer (Sword & Shield) , Fan of Waves (Chilling Reign) , and Yveltal (Celebrations)  are all good ways to win against this deck.

Beware the hammer and have fun playing this deck!
