The idea behind this deck is to keep the opponent paralyzation locked for as much and as long as possible.

The end goal is to get enough prism energy to use M Venusar's Crisis Vine attack which is a guarateed paralyzation every round. The back up tactic is to use Alolan Riachu's Tandam Switch as much as possible by either swapping out Mewtwo's ideally or swapping out any combonation of Mewtwo and Raichu's so that each round the attack will paralyze the opponent.

To do this there is a Zeraora who's ability lets anyone with Lightning energy retreat. There are 2 Mystery energies in the deck so that Mewtwo can freely retreat each round. There are 4 switch cards and 3 Bird Keepers to switch as well.

Early game the cheapest paralyze I could find was Pikachu EXs Thunder Shock which requires a coin flip, which are of course unreliable. So if you're forced to rely on that, there are 2 Glimwood Tangle stadiums and a Trick Coin tool that let you reflip coins. Then there are 2 Will supporters what allow you to choose heads instead of tails. These cards are just to make Pikachu EX's attack go right, since it's presumed you'll have to rely on that while building up energy.

Dedenne GX, Pikachu GX and Muk & Alolan Muk GX attacks all cause guaranteed paralyzation as well.
