Deck Primer

Turbo Miraidon is back!

Strategy: Like any other Turbo Deck, you should try and go second. Your goal is to take Prizes as fast as possible. Anyways, during your first turn, try and get out the following:

- 1-2 Miraidon ex's

- 1 Iron Hands ex

- 1 Magnemite

- 1 Squawabilly ex (If needed)

 - 1 Latias ex

- Any other Pokémon needed

Getting out these Pokémon out should be fairly easy, especially the Lightning/Electric Type Pokémon due to Tandem Unit also helps

Turbo Miraidon is back!

Strategy: Like any other Turbo Deck, you should try and go second. Your goal is to take Prizes as fast as possible. Anyways, during your first turn, try and get out the following:

- 1-2 Miraidon ex's

- 1 Iron Hands ex

- 1 Magnemite

- 1 Squawabilly ex (If needed)

 - 1 Latias ex

- Any other Pokémon needed

Getting out these Pokémon out should be fairly easy, especially the Lightning/Electric Type Pokémon due to Tandem Unit also helps you thin out your deck in the process. You should focus on thinning out your deck a lot, via your search cards like Arven, Nest Ball, Ultra Ball, etc. so you can hit it big with your Electric Generators so it gives you the Energy that is required in order to Attack via Iron Hands ex or another Attacker. Zekrom ex is what restored Miraidon ex as its own deck due to the loss of Raichu V, you lost a way to do insanely high damage, but Zekrom ex takes that slot that Raichu once filled, as its Attack starts at 130 and then does more Damage for each Prize Card your Opponent has taken which is essentially the same as the new Reshiram ex and Zard ex. Zeraora, which is a snipe Attacker that can take out Support Basic ex's like Fez, Mew, Squawk, and Latias. Magneton combines with Zekrom ex quite well as it gives up a Prize Card to further Zekrom's Damage, and it still helps you recover even 3 Energy to Attack with Zekrom instantly. Furthermore, by blowing yourself up with Magneton, you can take advantage of Counter Catcher to be used instead of having to rely on Boss's Orders oftenly. Take many prizes early on with Hands, and then in the Endgame, Zekrom ex. Iron Thorns ex opts as a backup Attacker that can help against Rulebox decks with Abilities since Thorns shuts them off, you should use Thorns as a last resort to stall a couple of turns, it also helps in your matchup against Zard since you can stop them from accelerating their Energies. Since your bench space will fill up quickly, FBEC, gives Hands free retreat or Iron Thorns ex if you don't have Latias in play and it allows Hands to OHKO Pokémon up to 140 HP with is especially helpful against Archaludon decks as you can OHKO their Duraludon with Amp or when Thorns needs to get out the Active Spot since Latias ex's Ability gets shut off. Prime Catcher, the ACE SPEC of choice, is a great gusting option, especially for how offensive this deck is. The 3 Professor's Research helps thin out your deck while getting you bigger hand sizes, Iono helps with Disruption. Boss's Orders is at 2 Copies as you have more gusting options such as Counter Catcher since it pairs well with Magneton. That is all for the strategy section, so feel free to make any changes, ask almost any question, or to leave any suggestions!

CTC: The cards that I'd recommend adding in will be sorted into a list, if there are any cards you wish to add from these suggestions or from your own thoughts/idea's, cut out cards you find unnecessary. With that being said, here is the list:

- 1-1 Eelektrik Line - Provides further Lightning Energy Recovery, pairs well with Zeraora.

- 1 Pikachu ex (Stellar Tera) - Activates Area Zero Underdepths.

- 1-2 more Boss's Ordes - Provides even further gust, I'd recommend leaving it as is af 2 copies though since Counter Catcher is really helpful.

- 2nd Iono - Gives more disruption.

- 4th Ultra Ball - Makes finding your Pokémon a lot easier.

- 2 Pokégear - Makes finding supporters a lot easier.

- Secret Box - Alternative to Prime Catcher and makes finding cards you need much more efficiently.

- 2nd Bravery Charm - Makes more Pokémon more tankier.

- 2nd Air Balloon - If you cut Latias ex, a second Air Balloon should be added as Free Retreat is important.

-  2nd Academy at Night - Combines well with Electric Generator.

- 2 Area Zero Underdepths - Increases your Bench Size to 8 if you have Tera Stellar Pikachu ex in play.

That concludes the CTC section, so feel free to do whatever you wish, and have a good day!

Edits:

Edit #1: Fixed Squawkabilly ex to the Paldea Evolved version. Though, changes will be made to this deck soon.

Edit #2: Replaced the placeholder cards with the real cards, along with removing 1 Counter Catcher, 1 Night Stretcher, 1-1 Magneton Line, and 1 Bloodmoon Ursaluna ex. They have been replaced with 2 Iono, 1 Tera Stellar Pikachu ex, and 2 Area Zero Underdepths.

Edit #3: Remove 1 Tynamo, 1 Eelektrik, 1 Pikachu ex, 2 Professor's Research, 1 Iono, and 2 Area Zero Underdepths. They have been replaced with a 1-1 Magneton Line, a 2nd Zekrom ex, 1 Night Stretcher, 1 Counter Catcher, and 2 more Boss's Orders. These changes were necessary to make this list better.

Edit #4: Cut out 2 Boss's Orders, 1-1 Eelektrik Line, 50 HP Magnemite, 1 Zekrom ex, 1 Night Stretcher, and 2 Lightning Energies. They've been replaced with 2 60 HP Magnemites, 2nd Magneton, 1 Bloodmoon Ursaluna ex, 1 Iron Thorns ex, 3rd Professor's Research, 1 Picnic Basket, 1 Academy at Night, and a 2nd Counter Catcher.

I apologize for not posting any decks for 3-4 days, I've been extremely busy testing decks for the Black Bolt and White Flare format and preparing builds for them, though do expect more decks to be released soon.

Nice Deck LimeLemon! I'm probably gonna make this deck irl!

LimeLemon avatar

Dittorules1 Thank you for your feedback and support, I appreciate it!

Hi LimeLemon, I quite new to this site but have posted a couple decks already, some with complex strategies like yours. I was wondering, because you seem like you know how to build a good deck, if you could look at some of my decks and give my any critiques on the Pokemon, Pokemon-Trainer-Energy configuration, etc, I'd greatly appreciate it. My Pokemon card knowledge is probably smaller than most, which is why I'd like some critiquing on my decks. If you don't want to do this that's perfectly fine, I just figured you knew what you were doing :)

LimeLemon avatar

zephyr19k Hello, and I'd gladly help you on that!

avatar

LimeLemon, thanks so much!

This is a really  good deck! I want some help with my deck because it's kinda mid. It's my first deck that I added supports to because I was a dumb child. I only have one deck on my profile though. I haven't had the time to make any decks because of school and making up all of my lost sleep from school

LimeLemon avatar

Pokekid135792468 Thank you for your feedback! Also, what kind of help do you need for your deck?

Pokekid135792468 avatar

For my deck I need help with how many of each card and like cards that do similar things that are better if possible

Pokekid135792468 avatar

I also might need any help you can give!

Pokekid135792468 avatar

Sorry for all the comments but I need some help with future decks and how to find cards and stuff

LimeLemon avatar

Pokekid135792468 Alright! Also, you don't need to apologize for all the comments you made.

If you're gonna have pika on the bench, who can hit for 300, why not add some of his energy and a single crispin just in case? Can deal heavy damage before losing prize cards.

and why not keep a joltik and 2-3 grass energy to be able to have hands loaded by turn 2?

LimeLemon avatar

theovy Zekrom ex is used to reach those numbers later on in the game, furthermore, this is a normal Turbo Miraidon deck that runs Electric Generator again due Black Bolt and White Flare's release reviving it, Joltik being added in would be odd in this type of build, which is why it's better of in its Joltik Box Archetype.

theovy avatar

LimeLemon so pika is there just for the stadium?

theovy avatar

LimeLemon and so unless you are able to get two elektiks up and 2 energies discarded, you need the generator to get hands ready by turn two, correct?

LimeLemon avatar

theovy That is possible, though there are odds that you'll get more than 1 Electric Generator which does give a possibility of getting the Energy needed for Iron Hands to Attack, whether that being 2 Generator's give 2 each or one gives 2 and the other gives 1, you'd still be able to attack with Hands' Amp You Very Much Attack as long you have an Energy in hand to attach to it. It all depends on luck from the Top Cards of your deck which is why 14 copies of Lightning Energy is ran and why thinning your deck helps ensure you find your Energy needed.

LimeLemon avatar

Jam the dipplin  This deck isn't another Joltik Box build, it's a Turbo Miraidon deck that tries to take Prizes instantly due to the use of Electric Generator accelerating the Lightning Energies needed, adding in Joltik makes the deck a bit slower and is much better to use in Joltik Box rather than the normal Miraidon Build, thank you for the suggestion though!

crijjeu5 avatar

HI, thanks for this deck.

Why no Tapu Koko ex on this deck ? With Area Zero and Pikachu EX ?

LimeLemon avatar

crijjeu5 Thank you for your feedback! Though, the reason Tapu Koko ex isn't in this list is because it's not really needed at all, even if Area Zero Underdepths and Tera Stellar Pikachu ex is added, its damage caps at 220 which is good for the Early Game, but you can be doing much more by then, though, I probably should add that to the CTC section since its cheap Attack Cost is quite helpful. Unless you're talking about the version in Paradox Rift.
