Strategy

 

  • Setup Phase: Use Nest Ball/Level Ball to get Squirtle/Staryu/Magikarp down early.

  • Acceleration: Get Blastoise ex into play (Rare Candy is key). Once active, Blastoise can let you swing with huge damage very quickly.

  • Attackers:

    • Blastoise ex is your main sweeper with massive Water damage.

    • Starmie GX provides a useful GX attack to swing tempo.

    • Gyarados serves as a bulky alternate attacker when you need a heavy hitter that doesn’t eat up your Blastoise.
