I feel like a couple of these cards are just really mediocre for a monkey deck. The Luxurious Cape (Paradox Rift) might allow you to survive an attack, but most decks will still easily do 200 damage in one turn which just renders the card into a bonus for your opponent. Same with Cook (Twilight Masquerade) it sounds neat as a concept to heal 70, but for that your pokemon needs to take a hit first and not die which is a tall order with 100 base hp as stage 1 pokemon.
The Luminous Energy (Paldea Evolved) is fine, but I would consider some Reversal Energy (Paradox Rift) as that enables the "cousin" with one attach as well as helps your other monkey's when you don't have the monkey trio going or if the opponent runs ability disables like Flutter Mane (Temporal Forces)
The Deck has a lot of switch options, but I feel like they are a bit over the top with max. 1 retreat cost on all of your pokemon its really not too helpful and could lead to a lot of times drawing into a switch which is useless in your current situation.
If you want to run that ambipom I would also suggest maybe running Cynthia's Ambition (Brilliant Stars) as well or other card drawing cards because the lucky helmet alone with all the monkey's you want to have on bench and not in hand will probably lead to a rather small hand
Another Supporter that might be helpful would be Irida (Astral Radiance) because you can search for 6 of your pokemon as well as an item which might be useful at the time so in the early turns probably Buddy-Buddy Poffin (Temporal Forces) in later turns probably Pal Pad (Scarlet & Violet) Pokégear 3.0 (Unbroken Bonds) or Counter Catcher (Paradox Rift)
I would probably cut the cook, cape, a switch and shauntal for 1/2 Irida, counter catcher, pokégear 3.0 and cynthia's ambition, but overall would have to test the deck a bit more and adjust the supporter/item counts.
I usually like to have Earthen Vessel (Paradox Rift) to not just sit there without energy and I would also probably remove 1-2 luminous for 1-2 reversal energies. The last problem of the deck is drawing and recovery without a Super Rod (Paldea Evolved) you are reliant on Lana's Aid (Twilight Masquerade) as soon as you lose enough monkey's could also use Miriam (Scarlet & Violet) to counter act both issues, but I usually prefer to at least have 1 item pokemon recoveries so I don't get stuck without any after playing a supporter in the turn or because my other ways of recovery are prized.
Artazon (Paldea Evolved) instead of Beach Court (Scarlet & Violet) could also help be more consistent in the setup and to stay alive as your opponent will most likely knock out a monkey each turn unless you run into some ability only enemy so you can stall with Simisage (Paradox Rift)
So I would suggest you just play around with it a bit to find a decent balance.
