you can put a malamar V in place of the normal malamar

This Malamar is for energy acceleration; the deck wouldn't work very well with Malamar V which would also require dark energy.

Nah, aaronvandetsie, he should keep normal malamer because of ability. Besides, malamar v is dark type and DOESNT have ability to attach energy from discard pile which is super helpful instead of wasting energy retrieval
