First off, the name is because I named my Sword Version starter Nick Mason, after the drummer of Pink Floyd. Now that that's out of the way...

Your main goal here is to get Dhelmise in Active and 1-2 Grookey on the bench, as well as an additional Dhelmise if you think you'll need a backup. You then want to utilize a combination of Turffield and Incense for your VMAX and Rillaboom.

If you're worried about Grookey getting Bossed out, evolve into Thwackey for the free Retreat. His ability only works if you have a Stadium in play. Opponent's Stadiums do not count. Other than that, try to Rare Candy into Rillaboom any time you get the opportunity.

If you only have Grookeys but you have the right cards, you can Turn 2 Hammer In. Turn 1, energy from hand onto Grookey. Turn 2, do it again, Rare Candy Rillaboom, Voltage Beat onto self. You now have a 1-Prize, 170 HP, 140 damage 'Mon on Turn 2. That's scary against a good lot of decks.

If you're really hurt for cards in your opening hand and have Cramorant, put him in your starting Active. Just give him an energy and Beak Catch. For this reason, as well as Turn 1 Skyla into Battle VIP Pass, I always go second when running this deck. You don't have to, that's just what I do. You can also energy from hand plus Voltage Beat for a one-turn Spit Shot, but that's usually a last resort. Use that to get rid of something REALLY bad before it can get setup, or something that's within kill range in general, like a half-health VMAX.

Speaking of VIP Pass, you can turn 1 that pretty easily with Cram-o-matic as well, but the Skyla is cheaper and more reliable. If you have to choose, use Skyla and save Cram for another card. VIP Pass is also useful as discard fodder for both Quick Ball and Cram-o-matic on later turns, so make sure to toss it any chance you get. Cram is great for getting whatever you need without your turn ending (Beak Catch being an Attack leaves it a poor option for setting up a Basic 'Mon on your bench.) Remember that both Cram-o-matic and Beak Cath can pick out any card in your deck. Do not go for Quick Ball or Incense; just grab the 'Mon itself and leave your opponent guessing.

I have gone back and forth between Ordinary Rod and Energy Recycler. I've settled on Recycler for now because it just works better with this deck IMO. You can Recycle back 5 energy from a downed Dhelmise, then use two Rillabooms on your bench to Voltage Beat 4/5 of those straight back out. This card can REALLY help you recover from a KO and get your momentum back.

Incense only runs 2 in here becase of two reasons. 1, there are also 2 Turffields in here. 2, there are only 7 Evolution 'Mons in this deck, and you'll rarely need to play even half that in a single game with the right plays.

With Dhelmise V, you can Giga Hammer, evolve, Max Anchor, OR you can set up 2 Dhelmise and Switch for consecutive Max Anchors. Either way, Switch is mostly in here as a solution for Boss. Speaking of, Swinging Chain renders Boss's Orders EXTREMELY redundant in this deck. When I used to run it, it was so rarely used that it was borderline useless. I'd need it maybe once every 20-30 games, and even then, I usually was in too much of a bind for it to save me anyway.
EDIT: I've taken out 2 Marnie in favor of 2 Boss. My reason why being that sometimes I find myself wishing to swap in a useless 'Mon to my opponent's Active spot in order to stop them from getting their attacks off. I may change this back at a later date.

Avery runs only 2 because honestly? This deck has so much search that draw is not nearly as needed. However, it is still needed. Avery is just a better Hop, as it can mess up Genesect and Suicune. Marnie runs here in place of Professor's Research because 1, it's disruption, and 2, you rarely want to discard your hand with this deck. There are plenty of times where I've had either both Rillabooms or both Rare Candies in hand, and had to Marnie, then pull one back out with another card. Skyla is basically just 4 free copies of literally half the cards in this deck. She is invaluable and an excellent card to have in your hand at almost any time. This is also part of why I run so few Supporters in here. You can't use another on the same turn you pull it with Skyla, so there's little point in doing so. But pulling any of the 20 Items or 4 Stadiums can really save you in a lot of scenarios.

EDIT: I've added 3 Korrina's Focus for replenishing the hand when cards are low. Avery can still be useful for when your hand is big, or when your opponent is trying to setup a lot on their bench, such as against a Rapid Strike deck.

Excellent. THIS is the type of stuff I like to see on this site. 5/5 rate, well done!
