Donphan can't Die (Ever) in Expanded PTCGL

This deck is probably the most fun deck I’ve ever played. Irritate the crap out of your opponent with the Lost Thunder Donphan card and Scarlet and Violet Slowbro. This deck is probably the most fun deck I’ve ever played. Irritate the crap out of your opponent with the Lost Thunder Donphan card and Scarlet and Violet Slowbro. Donphan’s ability, “Sturdy” makes it so that, when Donphan is at full HP and is knocked out by damage, he is not knocked out and his remaining HP is 10. Then, you use Slowbro’s ability “Strange behavior” to take the damage right off. Use things like emergency jelly, last chance potion, and max potion to heal the Donphan or Slowbro. Donphan will never die!

Taking a max of 120 damage from your opponent, this deck will give you 3 options to heal Donphan every turn:

Last Chance Potion – only works on a pokemon with 30 HP remaining. It heals 120 damage from that pokemon. Thankfully, most of the time, Donphan will be at 10 HP remaining so you can heal him right up to full HP.

Emergency Jelly – is a tool card that works almost exactly like Last Chance Potion, except that it’s a tool card and can be attached to Donphan to work in between turns.

Max Potion – heals all damage from 1 of your Pokemon, but it also discards all energy from that Pokemon. Slowbro doesn’t ever get energy attached to him, you can use his ability to take 80 damage off of your Donphan. Then heal the damage off of Slowbro with max potion.

We run 3 copies of Arven to fetch our potions and jellies. 2 copies of boost shake as it can be gotten with Arven to fight off speedy attackers; you can use it to evolve Phanpy into Donphan on your first turn. 1 copy of Galarian Rapidash to deal with poison decks. Ditto prism star can evolve into Donphan, Rapidash, or Slowbro. A copy of Collogne to deal with a Xirkitree GX.

Healing Donphan and slowly doing 140 damage every turn, you will win by either decking out your opponent, or taking all of your prize cards without ever letting your opponent take any! I’ve found this deck to be the funnest one to play on Pokemon TCG Live, mostly because of the amount of “thumbs-Down emojis” that you get from opponents.
