Octolock Trap

Use Grapploct's Octolock attack to bring your opponent's attack cost up by two colorless energy and trap them in the active spot. Your opponent then has two options. One, sit there and let Grapploct KO them (which it will do with a decent sized 130 damage attack in Tough Swing) Or two, try to build up the necessary energy to attack. This is where Biting Whirlpool and Old Cemetery come in. (For the latter, try to set it up after you have the necessary energy on

By punishing your opponent for attaching energy, they can either clean up in their own right, or pave the way for Grapploct.
