1 chien pao!?!?!?
@Davepigion,
one chien-pao works fine, chien-pao should mainly be used to search out energys as its attack can lead to you not having enough energy for setting up other attackers. making it a good last attack but not a attack used multple times. although chien-pao is strong it can cause you problems in the late game. running mutiple chien-pao is definitly ok but it can be a easy target for bosses orders. although having multple can make it easier to get in your starting hand, starting with kyurem or palkia to set up energys or a stadium card can be more useful in majority of match ups.
why energy switch
@Eminginjo
energy switch is abit of a niche pick for this decklist, i picked it because it can be a useful two card combo with melony as melony only attachs to V or Vstar pokemon, and so with energy switch, the energy that was attached by melony can be transfered to a non V/Vstar pokemon such as chien-pao or greninja for a double energy attachment turn.
therefore allowing chien-pao to attack in a single turn or greninja in two (a lucky energy from kyurem Vmax's ability can provide three energy to greninja, therefor allowing it to attack in a single turn too). when rotation comes around i plan to update this deck list with Cryptomaniac’s Codebreaking instead of melony (its leaving rotation sadly) so that you can get guarnteed energy attachments with kyruem Vmax ability.
energy switch is also useful for moving energys around when needed to attack on another pokemon and can be a important card in certain scenarios. but feel free to change it out for another change as i find it a flex spot. (not an stample card)
