Deck Primer

Since theme decks have been discontinued, we did not get any starter theme decks, so I decided to make them myself.

Introducing Party Tricks, the Meowscarada theme Deck). Like all theme decks, it is designed for beginners with easy strategies and plenty of upgrade options.

Introducing Party Tricks, the Meowscarada theme Deck). Like all theme decks, it is designed for beginners with easy strategies and plenty of upgrade options.

This deck is focused on disruption, with it having plenty of options to remove the energy from your opponent's active Pokémon with Meowscarda and Toedscruel, hitting them with status conditions with Toedscool and Vivillon that can evolve fully on the first turn potentially, and switching benched Pokémon into the action with Zangoose. To further enhance this strategy, the deck comes with a crushing hammer to further remove the hammer from your opponent and Pokémon catcher to have additional chances to switch your opponent's active as well as Team Star Grunt for additional disruption. Jacq can be used to get necessary evolutions, specifically the Vivillon line. Heracross is in the deck to act as a strong basic attacker and can pair well with Pokemon Catcher and Zangoose to deal heavy damage to higher retreat Pokémon on the bench.
