The circus is in town!

Peony is the ringleader, and the Copperajah ex (Paldea Evolved) are here to do 260 to anything in the way! Watch as the Iron Hands ex (Paradox Rift) take multiple prizes! Feast your eyes on the mysterious Bronzong (Battle Styles) and its Metal Transfer ability! See Radiant Heatran (Astral Radiance) OHKO literally everything in the game, and then some!

Basic Metal Energy (Scarlet & Violet Energies) acceleration is unfortunately not what it used to be -- I miss you, Metal

Basic Metal Energy (Scarlet & Violet Energies) acceleration is unfortunately not what it used to be -- I miss you, Metal Saucer (Sword & Shield). That said, Technical Machine: Turbo Energize (Paradox Rift) is great for Turn 1, and Arven (Scarlet & Violet) or Peony (Chilling Reign) can help you draw into it.

This deck is shockingly reliable for having 4 Peony (Chilling Reign) - and without Mew ex (151) it wouldn't be possible. Need a Pokemon and some energy? Use Peony to grab a Ultra Ball (Brilliant Stars) and Energy Search (Sword & Shield). Use Mew's restart after the Energy Search and then Ultra Ball into whatever. Peony helps shoo away Path to the Peak (Chilling Reign) with the ability to draw Crystal Cave (Evolving Skies) and even good at bringing in Lost Vacuum (Crown Zenith) to deal with the pesky Ancient Booster Energy Capsule (Paradox Rift) that bring Roaring Moon ex (Paradox Rift) to >260 HP.

Bronzong (Battle Styles) is actually the real star here. The ability to Metal Transfer from anything is vital to this deck, and unintentionally is perfect for countering Stall decks. It can Metal Transfer away Turbo Energized energy to the active, and to any Pokemon type. It can even transfer Luminous Energy (Paldea Evolved) which is a really fun thing to do when either Iron Hands or Radiant Heatran is around. Copperajah ex usually doesn't die in one hit (Usually. Looking at you, Entei V (Brilliant Stars) which makes it a great candidate for Professor Turo's Scenario (Paradox Rift), because if it's in a bad spot, a 4 Retreat Cost isn't that nice for a deck that uses Energy Sticker (151) to accelerate - Metal decks (that don't run Magnezone (Astral Radiance) or Klinklang (Silver Tempest) are that much in need of help.) Using Turo is one of the best counters to Stall and being bossed up, and you can use Bronzong to make sure no energy gets lost.

Zamazenta V (Crown Zenith) is also here. Good for Forest Seal Stone (Silver Tempest) and also for revenge kills. Zamazenta (Crown Zenith) is also there for the same reason.

Important note: You WILL be doing damage to your bench with Copperajah ex. This is not the end of the world, as Crystal Cave acts to undo it on all your Metal Pokemon. Mew unfortunately will be hurt, but you can always pick it up with Turo, and it can take a couple hits. Benched Copperajah and Benched Zamazenta (not V, and as long as an energy is attached) take no bench damage due to abilities. Radiant Heatran (Astral Radiance) on the other hand, loves bench damage. Swing twice with Copperajah and at 60 damage, Radiant Heatran can OHKO every single Pokemon - VMAX, Stage 2 ex included - dealing a nice 420 damage per hit. This is where Bronzong and Luminous Energy come into play - Energy is a vital resource to keep (hence two Exp. Share (Battle Styles) ) so you never want to direct attach to Heatran when others can utilize it well, but in the late game, you can transfer it over, retreat or Turo your active Pokemon, and swing for massive amounts.

Heatran isn't always useful though - no use doing 420+ dmg to a Comfey (Lost Origin). Iron Hands ex makes an appearance with the same need of a single Luminous Energy as Heatran. Just make sure to attach some Exp. Shares because if it gets KO'd and loses 4 energy, you'll need to Raihan (Crown Zenith), Klara (Chilling Reign), and do your best to reattach.

tl;dr - Peony works good with Mew's Restart Ability. Bronzong can transfer energies around the board. Copperajah KO's most things, Iron Hands KO's lower HP things, Radiant Heatran KO's very high HP things. Go second, aim for Peony/Arven, and Turbo Energize.

I've had a ton of fun with this deck, both online and at locals, and it does surprisingly well. This isn't a meta altering deck by any means, but a neat way to use one of the overlooked ex Pokemon from the SVI era. Also, doing 2100 damage with Radiant Heatran is very satisfying.

I'd love some feedback and thoughts on the deck, and if you've read this far, thank you for reading my deck description!
