Boomerang is not a rainbow energy and pikachu can't benefit from colorless.
Yea but the description of the move states discard 3 energy. Boomerang re-attaches itself after being discarded. I know pikachu doesn't benefit in terms of the energy cost, but it does help with energy reattachment. Just something I wanted to have fun with, not anything that I'd tell someone to take to a competitive setting 😅 sorry if you were looking for something competitive lol
