Pikachu EX is still incredibly fast but it didn't receive any huge buffs with this set.

However, it still manages to keep up with the meta, 90 damage for 2 Energies and 1 Energy Retreat Cost is still incredible.

However, it sharpened some corners, giving us a new Pikachu (instead of Gnaw Pikachu) and Electabuzz (which is a great option instead of Zebstrika, which also works well with Lt. Surge).
