I don't think you need that much energy. It's a great overall concept, but you will have difficulty dealing damage to Pokémon V. Considering possibly adding Powerful Energy.
JaceWindu18
Thanks! I'm trying to test it atm with pokemon tcg live and I'm making changes. You were right, way too much energy. Plus I made a mistake with Delibird earlier if I wanted the deck to be standard. I'll make changes you suggested. Let me know if you have any other ideas!
I don't think you need Sableye to find arven, since you have four arven, and great ball could be replaced with either ultra ball or nest ball. A card that can search for multiple evolution Pokémon would also help such as Arezu or Jacq. I also agree with JaceWindu18 that you could take out some energy and replace with draw cards. Also double turbo energy could help with attacking with Porygon-Z, because most basic Pokémon that evolve won't have much more than maybe 100 hp.

I 100% agree with getting rid of Sableye. Waste of a basic that just usually gets KOd when I test it. My worry with Ultra Ball is l I'll discard 2 important/needed cards and increase my risk of creating opportunities for failure. I do still use it in decks, but I feel like there's a lot of pressure on getting the right cards with this deck. I'm not sure though so I might add it. Nest ball would be a huge addition as well as Arezu! My biggest worry with double-energy would be that I go against a Lost Origin Basic Stonejourner with 140 hp that is Fighting typing which my pokemon is weak against. I suppose double energy will allow me to easily attack faster, but do you think the loss of 20 damage is worth it? Looking at the data it seems like it might be, but I'd like yours+ other peoples thoughts too before I add it. What draw cards do you suggest and how many energy should I remove would you recommend? Thanks for the insight!! I'll update the deck changes in the morning
This is such a hilarious punish to Rare Candy-focused decks, as once they use them all, they're stuck in terms of evolution! You can amplify this effect once the TM for Devolution releases. On that same topic, I'd run at least one Porygon2 in case of a mirror match, and you get stuck with your own weak basics. I guess you do have Mimikyu, but it won't last for very long against strong one-prize evolutions.
This looks like a blast, excited to give it a try on TCG Live!
Korrina is a bit underwhelming when it comes to draw, professor's research is much stronger and iono is very disruptive. I would also suggest on porygon2 because of consistency and if you discard rare candy you can't get it back. 4 energy search, 4 korrina, 4 panic mask and 4 calamitous wasteland seem exessive to me
Bro, wasteland is neither an item or a tool card...

I used to use porygon2, however, if I couldn't acquire a porygon-z quickly enough it would be completely useless. I didn't use any other porygon2 besides the Lost Origin Card, so if you know of any other porygon2 card that I could add that would be effective for the deck I'll be happy to add it. I'll look for other cards that might help.
rocksmashronin, You're right, I should say panic mask instead.

What slow bro or lumineon do you suggest? So far I haven't had a problem with Mimikyu and is pretty effective against V, Ex and sometimes regular stage 2 Pokemon if I have a panic mask attached. Is reversal energy standard?
Cjmills Yes, but I still think that it's good to have one for previously mentioned reasons. If you're worried about it bricking, then you can run a few cards that require discarding (like maybe replace Korrina with Serena. It doubles as both a way to discard, and a pseudo-boss at the cost of drawing one less card.)
But these are just ideas, so you don't need to use them if you don't want to!

I think it would be a good thing for me to test. I've been experimenting and so far this current one has worked for some decks, but honestly, there are so many possible decks and card combinations that it could be good against 1 deck but fail against another lol.
Slowbro is a no-go, same with lumineon (which is an easy two-prize target for your opponent to KO), my best advice for building funky decks is to focus on your set-up. You definitely need at least 3 ultra ball in order to find the Porygons. Also, energy search only works for basic energy, not special, so you could not find jet or double turbo energies. I would add in Iono (Paldea Evolved) to disrupt your opponent and refill your hand, since you don't take prize cards very quickly. You only need one or two mimikyu, because if your opponent cannot KO them, you are winning the game. I don't really understand why you are playing panic mask, as you are not doing a ton of damage in this deck. I would consider replacing the cards I mentioned with Bidoof (Crown Zenith) and Bibarel (Brilliant Stars) to help you with drawing cards. I hope this was helpful.
ElītShroom
How many Bidoof (Crown Zenith) and Bibarel (Brilliant Stars) should I add?
I would say 2 of each.
