I'm also considering running precious trolley instead of stamp, but that would require a reworking of the deck. Given the consistency issues 'Pao faces though, it could be worth it.
regigigas is useless
love the list by the way and also if i add precious trolley, how could i rework the deck ??
leonarddcrr regigigas is there because i find myself struggling to deal with high-hp tera pokemon like charizard and dragapult, it's purely down to personal preference so feel free to exchange it for another card! an example could be wellspring mask ogerpon ex, since it can deal bench damage and stall in the early game (which, with how often i've been drawing one of my bosses turn 1, may actually be a good idea).
leonarddcrr thank you :]! unfortunately i'm not super experienced in deckbuilding so i can't be sure, but i'd say to reduce the number of buddy poffins and nest balls and focus more on tools for evolution and energy. Maybe 0 or 1 poffins and 1 or 2 nest balls, and try to make more use of tm: evo to get your frigibaxs out. mesagoza is moreso used to grab evos, so you could keep it, or maybe run more tools and use town store (but since you have arven, maybe not). there's also area zero underdepths if you want a larger bench if you're also using wellspring ogerpon. To be honest, i kind of struggle with finding a good stadium option for this deck, so if you feel you don't need it, you can always get rid of those.
But, the main go-to would be to reduce the poffins and nest balls, while probably keeping a couple nest balls for mid-game use to keep a chien-pao or another pokemon on the bench
...alternatively, you could run more night stretchers to just recover them every time they faint :)
As an additional piece of advice, i would say to look at other decks that use precious trolley and see what numbers they run for their pokemon search cards, especially if you can compare them to non-trolley variants of the same deck(s). Hope this helps!
Wow I wasn't expecting such a reply ! indeed i was thinking about adding precious trolley instead of unfair stamp due to consistency issues as you said previously. But I'll stick with prime catcher which is also a very good option. I wanna play chien pao after rotation comes( cuz i love him ) and hope to get some serious stats with it. I feel like this archetype have been underated this since the appearance of dragapult in the meta, which is understandable due to its horrible matchup ( this is when regigigas could come in handy like u said, but still hardly effective to pull out in most games ). So i was thinking about adding these cards in your list which is incredible btw : Black kyurem to paralyse dragapults and raging bolts, water ogerpon to snipe ( without area zero underdepths ), Fezandipiti for draw support ( can be used to snipe too ), iron bundle for its ability and cool attack, and finally 2 night strechers for recovery. I would then cut stadiums, 1 super rod, regigigas, and finally 1 switch and that's all !! Pretty sad about radiant greninja and irida rotating out but it is what it is. Let me know what you think !! :)
