Interesting deck idea. Now that EX are coming back there will be less counters in competitive decks to VMAX Pokémon and the deck itself seems good enough. I'm going to test the list on ptcgo and comment back if I find any problems and or improvements.

Really interesting deck idea! Hoping to build in test it in person and on PTCGO! I think having a card like Cyllene may be beneficial to fish AP's out of the discard.
carpets i ran Team Yell's Cheer (Brilliant Stars) in my former list and considered leaving it in this list. it might be worth it to swap 1 or 2 with old cemetery, though. i'll give it a shot on live!
Cool deck! Consider one or two Pal Pad (Sword & Shield) to keep the Acerola "ace-rolling." (Sry couldn't resist lot) It is reprinted on ScVi base set.

You're welcome! I was very happy to see it get reprinted. Such a good card, but not overpowered like VS Seeker.
You could use Double Turbo Energy (Brilliant Stars) which doesn't effect the abount of damage counters placed.
Consider ultra ball to evolve faster,
