maybe a TM for the turn you cant use giant wave?
zelub Thats actually a very good idea! Maybe a blindslide or flourine.
The usual strategy is to use Relicanth (Temporal Forces) for the off turn that you cant use Giant Wave, since it will allow you to use Totodile, or Croconaw's attacks instead which can still be combined with Feraligator's Torrential Heart ability for the extra damage. Croconaw's is especially useful because you can use it to swap out to a different pokemon if it gets too much damage on it and youre worried about a KO on the next turn, but will still do up to 150 damage before leaving.
