The goal of this midrange deck is to pressure the opponent in the mid to late game stages. Gastly's Energy Conversion comes in very handy in a Wigglytuff 'Do The Wave' build, as Wigglytuff is your primary damage dealer and often the target of Super Energy Removals. Gastly allows this deck to rebuild a new Wigglytuff (by retrieving Double Colorless Energy) in the event of knockout or SER attacks. The Dodrio line unlocks free retreat for all of the Pokemon in this list, so you can get your Wigglytuff out of harm's way in the face of Hitmonchan, without burning precious Double Colorless Energy.

The primary focus of this deck is to set up an ideal 1-2 Dodrio, 1-2 Wigglytuff, 1 gastly, and others to achieve a full bench and active setup before playing Lass and unleashing massive Do The Wave damage to your opponent's Pokemon. Pilots should seek to get the deck online in a timely fashion, so that you can apply pressure and hope to dominate the mid and late game. Be sure to keep itemfinders handy and not discard them too early! With a wide breadth of different trainers in often low quantities, you will likely need access to important tools like Gust of Wind to close out the game and Pokemon Trader to bypass drawing evolutions you lack the basic to complete.

Mr. Mime comes in handy as a fairly costed attacker and cheap retreater that walls big attackers to save your threats from KO. It will often be your go to Attacker after Wigglytuff is KO'd or SER'd. Scyther also acts as a nice buffer Pokemon for tanking damage between Wigglytuff sweep attempts.
