Deck Primer

I guess technically this is a CG deck, but it wasn't what I had in mind when making it! I read an online threat talking about expanded cards coming back, and one of the topics was Forest of Giant Plants. Naturally, I wanted to see what I could come up with if it were brought back, and teh first thing that came to my mind was Forretress ex. I'm sure there are many other better options than Raging Bolt ex to pair it up with, but I wanted to try it out anyways.

So here it is! This plays nearly identally to your typical Raging Bolt ex list, but you pretty much have to dig as hard as you can to get Forest of Giant Plants out to power up your Forretress ex. It can immediately accelerate 5 energy cards, so you have 350 damage's worth of cards at your disposal at any given moment! When you do that, it KO's itself, triggering Counter Catcher. This elimiates the need to run Prime Catcher in this deck, opening up space for a different ACE SPEC!

For this deck, I went with Secret Box, as it's the only item card that can search for a stadium, and ity can also get everything else you need to set up, while discarding bricks or energy for Professor Sada's Vitality. The only other particularily interesting choice I think I made here is using Super Rod instead of Energy Retrieval, because energy in the deck makes it easier to cycle the Exploding Energy ability, as well as put Pokemon back into the deck.

Enjoy!

Iplaylostbox Good Catch, I could prbably afford playing one or two, but you'll often find yourself also drawing four or two cards through it because of its aggressive nature.
