Deck Primer

Tried with some rapid strike pokemon, can hit Ice Rider calyrex, Urshifu, Zacian, Inteleon for weakness. Path to the peak to shut down Shadow rider calyrex. Searcheable through octillery, brawly early game to establish remoraids, passimians and blaziken. Blaziken to fuel energy to bench pokemon. Passimian and telescopic sight to snipe bench, being able to hit 220 on any V/Gx. The Sylveons are proxies for the V and Vmax. Chose this version of urshifu vto hit the bench as well. Hope its good!

You can Replace the Sylveon Gx and Ex with Jirachi that has a Wish Upon A Star Ability. Evolution Incense isn't necessary too because Octillery is only the non VMAX evolution pokemon. You can watch a tutorial how to properly build a deck in youtube. You can see my deck also which is the DeciGoss deck and I can easily beat your deck because of Decidueye's Ability that prevents V, VMAX and Gx to attack on Decidueye. And also, I can't see the Hero in Your Deck. Do not focus On rapid strike pokemon. Also, Metagross, Blaziken and Zeraora have different types. I suggest you to focus on one type which is the main type. If you only have one type deck for example Psychic deck, you can only have psychic energy. I suggest you to have a basic energy because you can have unlimited basic energy in your deck for example. 1 Pokemon and 59 Energy, this is possible

Hi @CharmTCG, thanks for leaving a comment! Firstly, sylveon Ex and Gx are substitutions of sylveon v and vmax. Secondly, I find that decidueye decks are not really an issue, as I could take KOs on the bench rowlets, and if really need be, I could use octillery or passimian to attack. Thirdly, I do not need a ‘hero’ in this deck, as I only want it to be a box, where I hit super effective damage on as many meta decks as possible. Lastly, I use speed l energy to add to consistency, and I do not need basic energy as spiral energy provides all types of energy, and all of the Pokémon only need one of a different type in which rapid strike energy cannot provide. Blaziken vmax can also fuel spiral energy as well.

Overall, interesting use of a toolbox deck which include many pokemon that hit for weakness against common meta decks. Energy and trainer card counts seem fine to me too. Brawly is an interesting inclusion considering that you need quite a bit of set-up (a Blaziken, a remoraid, and the appropriate pokemon V for the situation). I’m not too sure about how easy it is to set up Sylveon VMAX as it requires many bench pokemon, however 220 x 2 (weakness) = 440 is effective enough to OHKO any fighting type/anything with a psychic weakness, and it’s inclusion is warranted. However, I disagree with a few card choices. The first is the 1-1 Metagross VMAX line. Ice rider Calyrex hits for 250 per turn, which is a 2HKO on Metagross. Metagross’s “Max Rush” hits for 100x2(weakness)= 200 on the first hit, which also makes it a 2HKO. If Calyrex gets the first hit off, Metagross will lose in a 1v1. I would suggest a single copy of Empoleon V, due to its ability to hit Victini VMAX (will be strong post-rotation). Empoleon V’s ability is useful in niche situations against abilities such as Bronzong’s Metal Transfer, Jirachi’s Dream Oracle and Inteleon’s Quick Shooting. I also think that standard Urshifu BST (with the attack that hits for 150) is a stronger choice than Urshifu promo (90 + 20 to 2 bench). Urshifu BST can hit 300 damage after weakness, being able to OHKO the likes of Galarian Moltres V and Eternatus V. For such a counter box deck, you should aim to hit as much damage as possible using weakness, and since weakness is not applied to the bench, Urshifu promo doesn’t really contribute much to the deck. Alternative options include running Aurora>speed energy, depending on whether you want a “safer” energy acceleration or card draw for consistency. Also @CharmTcg VMAXes count as evolution pokemon so they can be searched out by Evolution incense

I just found my previous comment again(months ago because I was a newbie and dont know what im saying) and.... OMFG didn't know I was stupid af.? Maybe replace Metagross with 2-2 Rapid strike Urshifu VMAX. the urshifu v with strafe is better imo.
