Rapid Strike Urshifu VMAX (Battle Styles)  is such a strong deck in the current 2022 meta. With the Mew VMAX (Fusion Strike)  deck falling out of favor and the rise of Arceus VSTAR (Brilliant Stars)  and Origin Forme Palkia VSTAR (Astral Radiance)  decks I can really see this deck making a return to the main stage of the meta. Doing splash damage to your opponent’s benched Pokémon is one of the key strategies of this deck. Knocking out your opponent’s smaller supporter type Pokémon on their bench in a variety of different ways will allow you to take cheap and easy prize cards.

First, let’s discuss some of the ways that we are going to be doing all that splash damage to our opponent’s benched Pokémon. Galarian Zigzagoon (Sword & Shield)  Radiant Blastoise (Pokémon GO) , Passimian (Chilling Reign), Telescopic Sight (Vivid Voltage), and even Rapid Strike Urshifu’s G-Max Attack can do damage to your opponent’s benched Pokémon.

However, just being able to do damage to your opponent’s bench isn’t nearly as fun as being able to take an extra turn from it! That’s right folks Medicham V (Evolving Skies) attack Yoga Loop gives you the ability to place two damage counters on your opponent’s Pokémon and take an addition turn if it is knocked out?!?!

I’ve said this before in my Turbo Origin Forme Dialga VSTAR (Astral Radiance)  deck tech that being able to take extra turns in the Pokémon TCG is NO JOKE! You can literally win a game from just having that extra turn to take your opponent’s prizes with!

This deck also runs many great supporter/trainer lines with the Inteleon (Sword & Shield)  package and cards such as Capacious Bucket (Rebel Clash)  for acceleration. As overplayed as these are I really don’t think I have to convince you all how good these cards are!

If you enjoy doing splash damage to the bench and taking additional turns, then this is the deck for you!
