Cool deck, also, you could use fairy energy to replace a proxy as It's quite obvious it is one.
this deck is so sick. i might have to try this out sometime
You could really use emergency jelly
I think the bigger focus on ancient booster energy capsule is better for attacking single prize decks plus it enables brute Bonnets ability.
Thanks for the comments folks.
Nice job on deck of the week
you can put roaring moon ex in now!
Here's an idea for a Roaring Moon counter. Lots of decks that use R Greninja either already run water energy, or make space for them. You could use its attack to KO a Moon that used Gouging, and then ping a different Moon for the other 90. Makes it harder for them to insta KO, especially if there isn't a stadium to discard.
I got a question: so what is the function of the Moltres? I don't have it and looking at it, I guess it is to answer situation where the enemy has advantage, but I'm thinking of using a Darkrai-Darkrai Vstar instead, since it can kind of hit harder than moltres if needed.
@ mehiel
The thought is to accelerate energy quickly onto to bench then you have options:
-Attack after manual attachment in late game for 220 (if they've taken 4 prizes) while leaving alone prizer in active.-
-Play Thornton on it for a discarded roaring moon and proceed from there.
Tnx
why have ultra when you have nest ball???
why have ultra if you have nest? also you could add in blissey she heals all damage for one energy.👍
@ duck
It's important to get energy into discard (ultra ball) to accelerate with dark patch and professor Sada.
Blissey (from go) is awkward to get setup as it's an evolution Pokémon. Plus the turn you take to heal is in my mind ment to be used to ko a 2 prizer, ideally without self sacrifice... But often it's for the win because if you already have the 200 damage then you must have frenzied goughing already at least once!
Why is brute bonnet in this deck?
@ tangent
Brute Bonnet provides a single prize attacking option that can also abuse professor Sada and ancient booster energy capsule.
More importantly its ability can mean roaring moon can reach the 230 figure. (220 itself and 10 from poison)
230 is an important number in a lot of matches.
Soo, the moltres...with no energy switch how are you supposed to get the energy onto roaring moon?
@ Dawgs
Using Tornton.
It will replace a discarded Roaring moon with your active moltres including all attachments (Energy).
Then attach for turn or dark patch for the third energy.
How about Morpeko as a single prize attacker/pivot? It works well because it keeps all of the energy it attacks with. This deck also works well with Energy Switch to use Galarian Moltres (both this one and the V work) to power up Roaring Moon faster.
@ tangent
These are definitely options worth including/considering. It would change the deck too much to do now. Better just start afresh with new variant.
Thanks 👍
