Deck Primer

I have been wanting to make a Salamence deck for quite some time so I have decided to release it today.

Strategy: Start off by setting your board by getting Bagon's, Dunsparce's, and Duskull's up and prepare to item-lock your Opponent with Budew or to use TM: Evo. Salamence does fall short on KO's on Pokémon like Pult, Gardy, and Zard so to OHKO then you can use Defiance Band or Dusclops or Dusknoir to finish them off. Also, after your first attack hitting for 300 Damage you can use the 1st

Also, after your first attack hitting for 300 Damage you can use the 1st Attack to also finish them off on your next turn if your Opponent retreats which can potentially finish them off. Though it may not work on Zard or Pult since they're Tera Pokémon. Counter Gain helps make your attack a bit cheaper when you're behind on prizes. The ACE SPEC of choice, Grand Tree, allows you to get up any of your Stage Two's and feels like a great choice of an ACE SPEC for this list. Though, you could run Unfair Stamp instead if that's what you'd prefer or any other ACE SPEC's such as Prime Catcher or Unfair Stamp or maybe even Enriching Energy. Additionally, since the Dudunsparce Line is used as Draw Support, Dudunsparce ex works as a backup attacker if your Salamence is knocked out. I don't have much else to say for this list so feel free to make any changes or leave any suggestions!

Edits:

Edit #1: Pidgeot didn't seem as good in further testing due to the likes of Budew so it has been cut for the Dudunsparce Line and an Ultra Ball had been cut as well.

Edit #2: Cut a Buddy-Buddy Poffin for Colress's Tenacity. This change was suggested by @Emboar500.

Edit #3: Removed the 60 HP Dunsparce and a Fire Energy for 2 Boomerang Energies. This change was suggested by @theovy.

Emboar500 Thats actually a good card to add in I'll update the list later today. Thank you!

Why not throw in boomerang energy to make sure you are always at at least 3 energy?

theovy Thank you for the feedback! Thank you as well for mentioning Boomerang Energy I did kind of forget it existed so thanks for the refresher!

LimeLemon  of course, I honestly just saw it on another deck and made a lot of sense. There are so many different cards and variables, something will always fall through the cracks here and there, right?
