Unlike some other Standard hit-and-run decks using methods to prevent the opponent from taking prize cards, this deck intends to take advantage of KOed Pecharunts switched in by Salazzle ex's Dire Nails attack through Teammates, Counter Catcher, Counter Energy, Oricorio GX and Roxanne, all of which collectively allow you to keep delicate control over the match pace. Mega Kangaskhan ex provides a spongier alternative to Pecharunt while also providing draw benefits and an alternative surprise attack with Ignition Energy.

Through Guzma and Hala, you have quick access to Ninetales V and Forest Seal Stone, allowing for a functional Computer Search effect in the deck alongside the guaranteed Virbank City Gym acquired by G&H.
