Why play Walking wake without any [w] energy?
Trainer Rob the reason is because we already play the maximum amount of ancient trainers but still want roaring moon to do more damage, so we must play another ancient Pokemon, a lot of people go to koraidon as another attacker but you rarely have a better attacker than moon in this deck so koraidon's two retreat cost gets in the way, if you start walking wake it's easier to move and then start attacking with moon
Squirtle38 So it's kinda just more Moon damage while having a lover retreat?
Trainer Rob exactly
