Silver Tempest Palk Intel

This is a revamped version of Palkia Inteleon for the Silver Tempest meta. Two main concerns for the deck in this meta are the Lugia threat, and the expected uptick in Regis. The two main techs for these matchups are similar - one Big Charm and one Temple of Sinnoh. The big charm can give one turn of survivability against Giratina, Regis and Lugia (certainly against AR Raikou, more iffy against the Lugia). The Temple of Sinnoh is overall somewhat mediocre compared to the Training Court it replaces

This is a revamped version of Palkia Inteleon for the Silver Tempest meta. Two main concerns for the deck in this meta are the Lugia threat, and the expected uptick in Regis. The two main techs for these matchups are similar - one Big Charm and one Temple of Sinnoh. The big charm can give one turn of survivability against Giratina, Regis and Lugia (certainly against AR Raikou, more iffy against the Lugia). The Temple of Sinnoh is overall somewhat mediocre compared to the Training Court it replaces - but it allows you do 30 extra damage against Pokemon with the V Guard attached and bypass Regi's Gift Energy. Combined with Roxanne it can be particularly potent, especially if Lugia mainly has "colorful" attackers and energy remaining such as Yveltal and Charizard, because the Temple shuts them down completely. If the Lugia player is smart, they will play around this by going for a more Lugia heavy strategy, because after all Lugia can still do 220 damage and discard the stadium in one turn. This still gives an extra turn to survive, so this is not all bad. Another tech to consider is Starmie for easy Lugia OHKOs, but this is easily played around and it would require cutting a tech. Because we cut Training Court - two energy recovery supporters is a must, and I think Raihan is fine compared to double Melony because it allows plays like: double Greninja, one turn Inteleon power up (even from a boardstate of just sobble, using Rare Candy). Another consideration would be dropping the Raihan for Court and playing 3 stadiums. Three stadiums feels controversial to me so I refuse to do it. I dislike not having Crobat, this may need to be tested more to ensure consistency but you could cut a Marnie for Crobat. Adding Bat could merit swapping an incense for Ultra Ball. One final note is that some have shifted to 3 quick balls and one level ball. I think this is meh personally since level ball is such a clutch Roxanne out. If I cut a ball for QB, it would Heavy Ball all day.
