So... Skeledirge ex's ability makes you do 60 extra damage during that turn, but that can be applied to multiple attacks in the same turn. So what does that mean? Jumpluffof course! On its own, it does 240 damage for a single grass energy after being boosted only onceOh yeah, I forgot to mention that you can stack the abilities. If the opponent has already been damaged, Technical Machine: Blindside lets you do 320 damage! Happy trolling!

tm evolution seems better than devolution

Reversal Energy (Paldea Evolved) could help you use tm blindside. In addition, Skeledirge only increases damage dealt to the opponent's active Pokémon, so blindside will only do 200 damage at most. That's still a lot though, so I think that's worth keeping.

One last thing: since skeledirge amplifies damage before applying weakness and resistance, what's your opinion on runningSupereffective Glasses (Astral Radiance) to one-shot a Charizard or Roaring Moon before going in to attack something else? I'm not sure as to how well that would work, or if  I'm worrying too much about competitive matchups. Feel free to ignore any or all of these suggestions. I like the deck though!

AlphaNova I like the idea of Reversal Energy, and I should have clarified that Blindside can attack the active if you want to, meaning that you can do 320 damage--to the active only. If they don't have any counters, nno worry, just use Spinning Attack first. And since you're doing 240 grass-type damage, it'll OHKO RM and Charizard anyways. Thanks though!

Look like a lot of fun, but I just don't see it. It isn't fast enough, and doesn't have a speedy option.

CountyGibbon798 avatar

NoGoodNames Unless I'm missing something, this is as fast as I can make a multi stage 2 deck. Turn one you set up Hoppip and Fuecoco, turn two either double rare candy, or evolve into Skiploop and attach to use its ability, and use the rare candy on Skeledirge. From there, it's spamming Earthen Vessel and Energy Retrieval to cycle fire energy needed for Skeledirge's ability. Hopefully that clears things up. :D

@CountyGibbon798

Well, you don't really have the means to get there. It doesn't have a basic attacker, and it doesn't have easy access to the limited number of Rare Candy. I think you could have an easier time with TM Evo, not Blindside, and another Arven.

CountyGibbon798 avatar

NoGoodNames So I fixed the issue by adding TM Evolution, but I'm struggling to find a good basic attacker (preferably a non rule box one). Do you have any in mind?

Woooo this looks fun! As far as options for basic attackers:

Cyclizar (Scarlet & Violet) can draw cards, tank a few early hits, and has no retreat cost.

Diancie (Astral Radiance) can also draw cards (this time while dealing damage), and can protect your benched basics from supporters like Boss's Orders (Shining Fates).

There are a couple more that could be viable but I think those two are the only ones worth mentioning, esspecially Cyclizar. It's seems really well rounded as an early game basic attacker.

I think 4 TM Evo, or 3 Evo and one Devo, would be better. Blindside has a high energy cost, and I done feel like it adds enough.

Marco_Ne avatar

Yes I would suffer crocalor if you're playing tm evo

CountyGibbon798 avatar

Marco_Ne Already added it a few updates ago lol

Marco_Ne avatar

Ok. Another possibility is greedent vmax, I would play this instead of cyclizar. Also, reversal energy can help use TM blindside

CountyGibbon798 avatar

reuche Yeah, I'm not proud of it either, but I'm having trouble finding what to remove to make space for the fourth one. If you have any ideas, please let me know!

Starmie23 avatar

Maybe rapid strike scroll of swirls?

CountyGibbon798 avatar

Starmie23 I wanted to do something with it, because 180 to the active and 60 to each benched sounds really enticing, but then I'd have to add the scroll and RS energy, and the deck is already cramped enough as is. I'd probably have to make its own deck for it.

Starmie23 avatar

I commented on the wrong deck lol

That might be a cool odea

I'm so confused

Idk what is happening with the comments ok!??$+_3+@:#'@
