Suggestions are welcome!

Slaking ex has some amazing stats, but has two slight disabilities of being a stage 2, and requiring that the opponent has an ex or V, which in most cases, is true. Use Terapagos to attack instead, because decks that can afford to not use exs or Vs are often decks like Ancient box or Lost box only use basic pokemon. Use Noctowl and Rotom to maintain consistency (rotom is great here as it can also search for slakoth) Maximum belt is the ace of choice here because while equipped,

Have Fun! 🥰

No dce? Can use it on both attackers.

Evn they are used for Crown Opal with Terapagos

DQ11 Fan yeah, I know I'm just asking why no double turbo energy even though both attackers can attack using it

Siegislash avatar

Evn Yeah that is a decent question. 👍

yeah, DTE can be used for both strikers but I have weighed the pros and cons and the cons still vastly outweigh the pros:

- The -20 damage is more than it might seem. With a META with Regidrago, Bolt, Lugia, and some other similar HP pokemon, doing 20 less damage is the difference between winning a losing. Slaking will no longer be able to OHKO drago and Lugia, and pagos won't be able to OHKO bolt and other big basic double prizers.

- One of Slaking's drawbacks is that it sacrifices it's own energy. If your deck is built around DTE then you will likely be starved of energy.

- Take advantage of Slaking's normal typing and use trumpet.

- With no Pidgeot, having DTE in hand is inconsistent.

- If your question is why I didn't add DTE in addition to the basic energy, it's just a deck space and consistency issue.

sry if I sound hostile in any way. Ur question is still a decent one regardless of what I said. 💯

DQ11 Fan Yes, definitely one of the good reasons to have basic energy over DTE. Thx for the comment! ❤️
