Deck Primer

A pretty fun off-meta deck to play that will get much better in Destined Rivals.

Strategy: Start off your Early Game getting up your Slaktoth's, Pidgey's, Duskull, and Budew if needed. Then prepare to either use TM: Evo or Budew if you go second but if you go first don't get Budew out just set up your Board. The ACE SPEC of choice, Grand Tree, helps get out your Evolution Pokémon out much easier. Also, Jacq helps get out your Pokémon when you're under an item-lock and Colress's

Black Belt's Training helps Slaking out by letting it OHKO Pult and Gardy. I don't have much more to say about this deck so feel free to make any changes or leave any suggestions!

Oh right forgot to mention this but Slaking doesn't work unless your Opponent has an ex Pokémon in play but in Destined Rivals a stadium will come that shuts off all Normal Pokémon's abilities which can allow Slaking to attack without the ability's requirements.

Interesting concept, but would Grand Tree still be good in this list when Destined Rival comes out?

Waffle Enthusiast Grand Tree might still be a good card but the ACE SPEC Maximum Belt might be a lot more better since you don't have to worry about the ability as often due to that stadium.

Waffle Enthusiast No problem, glad to have answered your question!
