Deck Description:
This is my current Slaking ex build—fast, aggressive, and full of potential. It’s still a bit of a skeleton (around 50 cards), so there’s room for optimization, but the core engine already hits hard when it works.

The biggest shift in this list is the Noctowl/Hoothoot/Ogerpon line, which massively improves early-game consistency

The biggest shift in this list is the Noctowl/Hoothoot/Ogerpon line, which massively improves early-game consistency and helps guarantee Pidgeot ex comes online reliably. Slaking ex can start applying serious pressure fast, and if you go first, you’re often in control right away.

A few current drawbacks:

It struggles hard against Item Lock strategies.
It runs a low energy count, which can lead to awkward hands or sitatuions.

I’m considering Earthen Vessel as a potential fix for energy issues, but overall I think this list is already scary and has massive potential in the right meta. If you want a high-ceiling, aggressive deck that punishes slow setups, this is one worth trying.
