This is my Slowking ex Control deck, updated for when Pokemon 151 releases in North America. The Mew V represents a Mew ex from 151, the Arc Phone represents a Snatch Arm from 151, Calamitous Wasteland represents Pokemon League HQ from Obsidian Flames, and the Full Face Guard will probably be replaced by Rigid Band from 151, though I am on the fence about that last one. The main strategy of this deck is to get a Slowking ex with 2 psychic energy in play as soon as possible, and then use wise headbutt

The main strategy of this deck is to get a Slowking ex with 2 psychic energy in play as soon as possible, and then use wise headbutt to grab whatever the situation requires from the deck. The Ralts line provides you with an additional draw engine, as well as energy ramp in the late game. Manaphy blocks attackers like Radiant Greninja. Galarian Zapdos V is an Arceus counter. It can one-shot Arceus for as little as one energy, thanks to it's ability. Mew ex is a potential Giratina VSTAR counter, because it can use Giratina's attack against it and one-shot it. The problem with these cards is that they require a lot of energy to have ready, but that is what the Shining Arcana Gardevoir is for. Avery is good for opponents that rely heavily on their bench. Arven can help grab important items and tools mid-turn so that you can quickly set up an attacker. Crushing Hammer offers really good disruption against Lost Box and Mew VMAX decks. Full Face Guard/Rigid Band helps keep Slowking ex alive and is especially useful against Giratina. Giacomo is good disruption against Mew VMAX.  Iono and Judge are standard hand disruption. Snatch Arm combos with these cards because you can give your opponent a small hand, then shrink their hand even more. Path to the Peak shuts down all sorts of stuff in the meta. Raihan helps to quickly set up a new attacker in case your active pokemon got knocked out. Temple of Sinnoh is good against Mew VMAX and can shut down Jet Energies against Lost Box. Pokemon League Headquarters is mainly good against Lost Box, but can also disrupt Arceus if you get it in play early. This deck's main weaknesses are that it has low damage output, is weak to Iono and Judge, and has a poor matchup against Arceus and Giratina decks. As I mentioned earlier, Galarian Zapdos V and Mew ex are your main counters to Arceus and Giratina. Unfortunately, there isn't really anything you can do against Iono or Judge other than hope what you draw is good. Hopefully this description was helpful in explaining the deck/my thought process while building it. This has not yet been tested, though my standard Slowking ex deck does fairly well. If you have any feedback, I would love to hear it. Thank you, and I hope your day is pleasant.

Love this deck, disruption is so fun and a whole deck around it is incredible. Im just curious, if mew EX were to copy a Vstar power attack like Star Requiem, 1) is that possible? and 2) would that count as your vstar ability? i cant find anything online about it
