Stonjourner VMAX (Sword & Shield)  is a fun but very scary deck to play and not for the faint of heart. If you like living life on the edge, then you will love playing this deck!

As we all know, if you have no Pokémon left in play, you lose! Stonjourner V Max only runs 6 Pokémon and most of the time you will only have one in the play! This makes this deck a very scary deck to play, and you’ll definitely be afraid of getting knocked out every turn! However, Stonjourner

However, Stonjourner V Max doesn’t go down to easily. We have a plethora of ways to make your Stonjourner take less damage from attacks and heal itself making it almost impossible to kill!

Let’s begin with our Stonjourner V (Sword & Shield)  and Stonjourner V MAX attacks. Stonjourner V has an attack that only takes one energy to use called Guard Press. Now this doesn’t do very much damage, however it does make it to where you take 20 less damage the following turn. Additionally, we also run Stone Fighting Energy (Vivid Voltage)  in this deck which also makes you take less damage. Therefore, after our first attack we could potentially take 40 less damage on our first turn! Stonjourner V MAX on the other hand as a completely different type of attack called Stone Gift. This attack doesn’t do any damage but it’s a free hyper potion! It makes it to where we get to accelerate energy onto our Stonjourner and heal for 120 damage! How could we possibly die?!?!

Now let’s talk about all those trainers that this deck is jam packed with that will keep us from dying! We have Pokémon Center Lady (Champion's Path), Team Yell Towel (Shining Fates), Hyper Potion (Sword & Shield), Lucky Ice Pop (Evolving Skies), and finally Full Face Guard (Evolving Skies) . All these cards either heal our Stonjourner or keep us from taking damage!

Lastly, I’d like to talk about a niche card in this deck called Kabu (Champion's Path) . Kabu is an interesting card because it gives us extra card draw if we only have one Pokémon in play. Therefore, you don’t really want to have two Stonjouners out. You just want one and be able to heal it or keep it from being dealt damage.

All in all, I think this is a very fun off-meta deck and if you like the “healing” strategy of Pokémon then you will love this deck!
