Edit: I had no idea that the title would look so good with the angry Lance as the cover card :)

I have always loved the idea behind Regidrago VSTAR, and I get to use Noivern (my fave Pokémon) so I'm happy with this deck. Anyway, here it is!

The idea is to discard dragon Pokémon and copy their attacks with Regidrago VSTAR.

The idea is to discard dragon Pokémon and copy their attacks with Regidrago VSTAR.

There are a lot of dragons you can use for different matchups. Most of the time you will use Goodra VSTAR. 80 damage reduction is extremely powerful and it will never be OHKOd. Duraludon VMAX can be used to OHKO Chien-Pao and Miraidon ex, and it goes through effects, countering stall Pokémon such as the new Mimikyu. Giratina VSTAR is another solid attacker, which can OHKO a VSTAR or Stage 1 ex at the cost of putting 2 Energy in the Lost Zone. Flapple can do a lot of damage, since most decks rely on abilities. There are a number of options for a 'clutch' game win for when you have 1, 2, or 3 prize cards left. For 3 prizes: Boss's Orders or Serena and then Flygon V to do 320 damage. For 2 prizes: Use a regular attacker or use Garchomp V to hit a bench-sitter such as Lumineon V or Squawkabilly ex. For 1 prize, use a regular attacker or baby Noivern to kill a radiant. Dragonite is to accelerate energy and Noivern ex can wall against only basic decks.

Leafeon V can accelerate energy on turn 1, and Manaphy because, well, manaphy.

Trainers: Lance can find dragons for discarding or Regidragos. Gardenia's Vigor can accelerate grass energy and draw at the same time. Serena is a versatile card, which can discard, draw, and gust. All the other cards are just useful cards that work well in the deck.

Thanks for sharing I love to see people cooking regidrago. Is it fast enough without the arceus engine? You say "manaphy because manaphy" but what does it really help against? Greninja isn't a threat given the size of the mons here and I don't even think kyogre is a big threat nor is it common nowadays anyway

I think manaphy and flygon can be replaced. I recommend the Regidrago basic from ,I believe evolving skies, with the attack that does 240.

I'd also consider dropping a leafeon.

Then look at adding 2 more trekking shoes or another Noivern EX. I play something similar and getting Noivern in the discard quick is clutch.

Maybe even a professor Burnett to discard cards

like others have said, regidrago from evolving skies can help, but defo keep the manaphy bc rapid strike is getting popular again. Flygon can go but it is a powerful tool against mew vmax. Leafeon can be a one of. I would consider adding acceleration of some kind: Raihan, Gardenia's vigor, or even the arceus vstar engine like the list that won junior naic. nice deck and regidrago is crazy fun. Keep cooking!

Thanks for all the feedback and for deck of the day! I keep manaphy because 3 people at my locals play RS Urshifu, but will definitely change some other cards.

Also I want to keep flygon because Mew VMAX is also popular at my locals

Here are the codes, I don't really want them:

Hey I just played a tournament with a similar deck but arceus + regidraco, I uses this deck:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3BzEZLXk2KE&t=772s
We were 32 and I got 4 place, the main counter I would say is just turbo lost zone with dragonite, other than that, that deck with regi is so overpower

I love this deck, it's different and versatile. I was just wondering, why you have 2 Noivern ex in the deck? I changed it in my version with one super rod, because i had some rough bad luck energy discards with the Legacy Star ability
