I really like Reunclus's summoning gate attack and wanted to make a deck around it. If you have any suggestions, please let me know. I've been testing this deck on the ladder, and here are my thoughts.

I really like Reunclus's summoning gate attack and wanted to make a deck around it. If you have any suggestions, please let me know. I've been testing this deck on the ladder, and here are my thoughts.

You must setup Reunclus turn one. This deck can't play many basic Pokemon, and 40hp on the soloist is too low to survive attack. You will lose if you don't setup a summoning gate as soon as possible. Please note that Reunclus's attack, Brain Shake is not actually terrible. The confusion has saved me more times then I care to admit.

•Codebreaker into a Summoning Gate is good. Usually, I want to setup Kindra and an EX or I go Big daddy Garchomp with Big daddy Tyranitar. They work well together with the free retreat and energy attachments of Garchomp with Tyranitar's significant damage.

•Quaquaval with Neo Upper Enengy is not such a gimmick. The damage is real and it allows you to swap the Neo to another stage 2.

•This deck has dead draws for DAYS. Once you're set up, you don't need to draw anything except energy.

•You need to pay attention when piloting this deck. It wins on-type matchups and has good retreating options with a balloon and free retreat on Garchomp. This then provides the setup for Tryanitar to activate its Lighting Rampage.

Ways the deck can improve.

•Make getting to Reunclus easier. It's a win-or-lose card.

•I'm not sold on the Ape. It provides good typing coverage, and its first attack worked great with Tyranitar's Lighting Ramage. Not many good fighting pokemon right now.

•How can we not dead draw so often? We can't play discarding supporters like Research due to all the 1 of cards. It's such a balance
